Today is the last day of my 30s. Here’s a pic from somewhere above Texas. Like the Misfits said “we go where eagles dare” As I hit this milestone of over the hill, I know I have to live it up because I sure as hell won’t get another 40. I know I’m not old enough to know the meaning of life but if I had to guess I think it’s broken down to one four letter word. Love. Just find a job you love and it no longer is a job. Love the people around you and let them know they are loved every now and then. Unfortunately not everyone gets the privilege to take the trip with you. There’s divorce, death, haters, sometimes the haters are people who are the closest to you and the ones you love the most. Just keep persevering and I promise you the wrong ones will always go away and the right ones will always stick around, and come around. Sometimes heartbreak will open you up to meeting some of the best people you’ll ever meet. The little things are what matters the most. A smile, hug, unexpected text. Gotta take the good when it comes because life’s pretty rough. If you’re lucky enough to have children, although it’s sometimes challenging it’s always a great blessing. Have a great day out there. Love, peace , and hair grease. #overthehill #oldmanriver #wegowhereeaglesdare #oldschool #fuckingmillenials #nothingbutlove #love #texas #christhebarber #istillgotit (at San Antonio, Texas) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bw18jdelMOq/?igshid=lsye8bargl1c
