Forbes'da motor endüstrisinin kendi kendini imhası hakkında bir yazı. Geleneksel endüstrinin gerçekten değişmek istiyorsa, içten yanmalı motorları tarihe gömmesi ve hibrit teknolojiyi dâhi bırakması gerektiğine vs değinilmiş. Tesla'nın, %100 elektrik araba yapılabildiğini ısrarla göstermesine rağmen, diğer oyuncuların halen hibrit motorlarla uğraşmasını odaklanma sorununa bağlamış. 

Bence, bu biraz düz mantık doğrusu, zira altyapıdan problemini dikkate almamış, yakıt hücrelerine (fuel-cell) değinmemiş ve ABD'deki pikap merakını es geçmiş.
