Greek Yogurt Bagels - High Protein Twist
Start your day with a nutritious and flavorful breakfast featuring quinoa, ripe bananas, and crunchy almonds. This wholesome dish is sweetened with honey and spiced with cinnamon, creating a delightful and satisfying morning meal.
Ingredients: 1 cup quinoa, rinsed. 2 cups almond milk. 2 ripe bananas, mashed. 1/2 cup sliced almonds. 1 tablespoon honey. 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Pinch of salt.
Instructions: Mix quinoa and almond milk together in a saucepan. Bring up the temperature. Turn down the heat, cover, and let it simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the quinoa is done and the liquid is absorbed. Apple slices, honey, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt should all be mixed in. Combine well. Stirring every now and then, cook for another 5 minutes or until all the ingredients are warm through. Serve warm in bowls. You can add more banana slices and almonds on top if you want. Enjoy your tasty breakfast of banana almond quinoa!

Ingredients: 1 cup oat flour. 1/2 cup protein powder. 1 tsp baking powder. 1/2 tsp cinnamon. 1/4 tsp salt. 1 ripe banana. 2 eggs. 1 cup milk of choice. 1 tsp vanilla extract. 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup. Cooking spray or butter for the pan.
Instructions: Mix protein powder, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and oat flour in a bowl. The ripe banana should be mashed in a different bowl. The eggs, milk, vanilla extract, honey or maple syrup should then be whisked in. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ones and mix them together until everything is well mixed. Set a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat and use cooking spray or butter to lightly coat it. For every pancake, pour 1/4 cup of the batter onto the hot pan. About two to three minutes of cooking will bring bubbles to the top. Flip and cook for another one to two minutes, until golden brown. Do it again with the rest of the batter. You can top the protein pancakes with fresh berries, Greek yogurt, or a drizzle of honey, or anything else you like. Enjoy your tasty and healthy protein pancakes!
