Hi! I love your writing. I was wondering if you could do an angst fugo x reader fic where the reader leaves with group and they don’t come back? If you can’t do that it’s ok! Thanks!
REQUEST: Hi! I love your writing. I was wondering if you could do an angst fugo x reader fic where the reader leaves with group and they don’t come back? If you can’t do that it’s ok! Thanks!
I was listening to ‘Early sunsets over Monroeville’ by MCR and this request instantly came into my head, im sad now. Thank you and hope you enjoy!!
Pairing: Pannacotta Fugo x Reader
Warning: angsty, character death
EARLY SUNSETS
“You can’t be serious!” the blonde teenager almost screamed “It’s a suicide mission!”
Bucciarati boarded the boat with Trish followed by Abbacchio, Mista and Giorno. Narancia whined not knowing what to do, he knew this meant a bigger sacrifice than anything they had ever risked before. (Y/N) sighted, the decision had been made long before they got to this point, staying loyal to Bucciarati was no question.
“My heart will only rest if we do this” (Y/N) whispered holding onto Fugo’s hand tight before slowly letting go
“Some things we just can’t fix!”
“Even so, we can’t lie to ourselves...” Bruno answered firmly
“Don’t leave” Fugo was growing desperate “(Y/N)...”
Turning to look at them he pleaded, he couldn’t bare to let them go knowing they might never come back. They could have their last breath so far from the place they called home, where they found eachother.
Emotions bottled up in him, all the anger and sadness of the moment was showing in his tears forming in his eyes but he would not break. He knew that staying back was the best he could do, he would not be a traitor.
(Y/N) looked at him in the eyes before placing both hands on either side of his face, they closed the distance until their noses where touching.
“I’ll come back to you Pannacotta Fugo”
A kiss, so short but so heavy with feelings. And for a moment he hesitated, if only for a millisecond. (Y/N) let go of his face and stepped into the boat without breaking the eye contact with him.
“Once we leave we’re traitors” Abbacchio commented.
“So be it”
and like that they disappeared into the sunset, his eyes never leaving theirs.

He felt it, he felt his heart break one evening walking along the streets. He looked up at the darkening sky, an airplane siluette flying past over the white clouds. Walking along one of the flower shops he noticed something odd, while they usually had sunflowers on display for people to see and remind him of (Y/N)’s stand; they had none today.
‘oh no, oddly enough they all withered this morning’
His heart fell to his stomach, this couldn’t be happening. He didn’t need someone to tell him for him to know what this feeling meant. Narancia and (Y/N) were gone. His friend and lover. Fugo broke on the loneliness of his home, in the dark and silence of a lonely house once filled by a family; his family.
When news broke of the boss being defeated and Giorno returning as the new Don of Passione he stayed back. He couldn’t bare the truth just yet even if he knew everything already, how everyone talked about only Giorno and Mista returning along with Trish.
Days passed before he decided to visit Giorno and pay his respects to the new Don. Walking into the house he was led to where they would meet, a room with big windows looking over the garden. He was there alone while waiting for his former teammates when he noticed the table by one of the windows. All things representative of his late friends but to him, the sunflower stood out the most. A finger softly touching it’s petals.
“I’m sorry I couldn’t bring them back”
Giorno stood by the door, clad in black. Fugo sighed before turning to meet his eyes. It felt like it had been years since the last time they saw eachother, almost as if they didn’t know eachother.
“They...”
“They loved you Fugo”
“If only I’d had joined you...” he lamented sitting on a chair beside the table
“You did what you thought was right”
Giorno stood by his side trying to bring some comfort by placing a hand on his shoulder, Fugo’s eyes watered and for he first time the cried in front of someone else.
“But it doesn’t feel right.”
