Miyabi-Kai 2017: Maiko Tatsuha (Tama Okiya) helping her onee-san Takeha (Fujimoto Okiya) walk down the stairs to the Yasaka Shrine, while Geiko Fukuha (Tama Okiya) holds and umbrella for her and Maiko Yuriha (Tama Okiya) follows behind.
Takeha is a legend not only in Gion Kobu, but in entire Kyoto. She had her Misedashi in 1950 and her Erikae in 1954, so she has a total of 67 years of experience in the karyukai! She is about 82 years old.
At the beginning of the year, she became the onee-san to Maiko Yuriha and Tatsuha, which was quite the surprise, as no one was expecting her to take upon more imouto at her age. They must be very special girls.
