Fujishima Kousuke

Kousuke is such a sweet soul but I wonder if he has an angry side that comes out when someone hurts or kills an animal. I can imagine him getting fired up and potentially hunting down animal abusers or budding serial killers that torture animals. On a semi-related note what if he finds a friend from HOMRA who loves animals and is a vet nurse or something?

He is a member of Homra after all, I could definitely see Fujishima as being the kind of guy who is normally calm and friendly until he sees someone kick a puppy or something and then he just kicks their ass without even blinking. Like he's usually known to be one of the more level-headed members of the group, he doesn't fly off the handle easily and he's good at taking direction and basically being low key at those times when that kind of temperament is required. However occasionally when Homra's dealing with other gangs they'll come across a group that also tends to harm animals, like they discover that one gang in addition to drug dealing is also running like a dog fighting ring. Fujishima is immediately acting unexpectedly hot-headed, they even catch one of the gang members at some point and before anyone else can start threatening the guy to get him to leak information Fujishima's got him up against the wall and is demanding to know where their hideout is. He's so scary that the guy gives up the info immediately and Fujishima doesn't even wait for everyone else to follow, the rest of Homra's hurrying to keep up as they go deal with the rest of the gang. And then afterward the Homra guys all mention how it was weird seeing Fujishima so fired up for once, like he was really genuinely scary for a while there (and as they're talking about this Fujishima is just sitting there surrounded by fearsome fighting dogs who all want to sit in his lap and get ear scritches).

I could see him making friends with anyone else loves animals really, like it's a common ground sort of thing. If he met someone else in Homra who was a vet tech or maybe worked in shelter I think he would keep in good contact with that person, like this is someone Fujishima knows he can trust. Actually I rather like the idea of him befriending Benzai at some point too, maybe not even knowing that Benzai is a member of Scepter 4, like imagine they both end up volunteering at the same cat rescue and become good friends. At some point they do discover that the other is a member of their rival clan but after some tension the two agree to leave those sorts of matters 'outside of work' so to speak, like Fujishima appreciates Benzai's love for cats and they both have common goal of wanting to help the animals so there's no need to be enemies while they're at the shelter.
