"You’re rude." He pointed out, Kuroo’s protests a moot point in the grand scale of things as fingers dutifully continued to comb through those dark locks. Warm, soft. It wasn’t unpleasant although he was sure his enjoyment of the act would be more justified if the Nekoma captain was instead, a cat. A soft noise escaped as he stifled a laugh, exhaling through his nose only. Amused. Nekoma neko’s… It was hardly an old joke though, no doubt.
"I don’t know why I’m doing this." Raising one eyebrow a little as he gave the dark haired teen an askanse look. Didn’t desist though, for some reason. "So, what’ve you been up to lately?" Filling the silence.
"Because I'm utterly irresistible?" Kuroo looked up and winked, before laughing softly and resting his body against Akaashi's once again, closing his eyes quickly at the easy, slow rhythm of the pats — it was comfortable, close in its own way, a lot more than what Akaashi would offer any other day... The Nekoma captain enjoyed the silence too, stayed quietly through it as he listened, before licking his lips in thought.
"Not much... Training for Nationals, cramming for college exams, all that shit." Kuroo whined, playing with his own thumbs in simple boredom next. "I hear from Bokuto you guys are halfway to nationals again." He commented off-handedly, then looked up, tilted his chin a bit so as not to stop the other from playing with his hair, that felt so good, just looking for small eye-contact.

Bokuto wasn't answering. Kuroo groaned and rolled on his bed, tossing his phone aside before flicking the damn thing on and off, waiting for a reply that apparently, wans't coming. Bokuto usually typed fast (with many typos) and delievered 5 messages while he was still typing the second, the needy thing, so for him to not answer... Either he was in one of his moods again, or grounded.
Kuroo thought for a second, then his brilliant brain told him to check someone who would know it. Akaashi Keiji.
