Found in: desert locations, mainly brought from Libya.

Fulgerites are natural glass, usually tubular, formed by lightning strikes in sand or rock, hence also being as Lightning Tubes,petrified lightning, or Fused Glass Sand. One variety is specifically known as lechatelierite.

They are particularly noted for their ability to channel and direct energy. Fulgurites are used by Native Americans to bring rain (cloud-busting), and as charms for protection from lightning. A natural glass tube formed in sand or rock by a lightening strike enhances communication on the physical plane and strengthens the connection with other worlds and beings in those worlds. Intensifies concentration and eliminates distractions. It can also enable one to predict future events and can be used to enhance the abilities of a divining rod. Facilitates clairaudient experiences.

Health: Physically, fulgurites are used in crystal healing and folklore in treatment of the immune system, ear, nose, and throat ailments, sight, thymus, tumours, growths, and issues of the colon. Fulgarites are also said to raise energy levels and improve libido.

Be gentle in the handling of these as they can be quite fragile.
