Dear Fairy Tail Artists (of any kind) please pay attention!
Hello! Admin Erza here! I’m sorry this is a little bit informal to my liking but anyways... Please dear artists (people who draw, colour, make graphics, everyone!) I’m begging you all to put a visible water mark on your work, you see, I am in some Fairy Tail groups and pages of FACEBOOK and i’ve seen work of people posted there without any source nor watermark, (I am specifically talking about spanish speaker groups and pages i dont know about english speaker pages/groups) I know some of you might dislike to put a watermark since it doesnt look quite as good (im saying this since i hate to put watermarks as well) Believe me, there are multiple persons who are gonna save the pic (because they liked it and want to show to their friends or whatever reason) and without any watermark THERE’S NO WAY TO KNOW WHO THE ARTIST WAS. I’ve been fighting a few people there (facebook) since they’ve posted work that says SPECIFICALLY “DO NOT REPOST” and it pisses me off, they say “lol look at the ‘do not repost’ haha XD” their excuse is that you guys are guess what... artists. (which makes you the OWNER of that work and you have the RIGHT to tell people not to repost ANYWHERE if you want to!) I also have seen A LOT of people translating english edits (graphics, fanart, doujinshis,etc) and posting them without again, any source, they do not claim it to be theirs but still. SO PRETTY PLEASE (I’m begging you since it makes me sick to see your art in which you spent hours and dedication being posted everywhere! you DESERVE to be recognized!) put a watermark on your precious work.
