I love that FMA has multiple good ships, and one doesn't entirely dominate the other, like Edling and Edwin coexist and they are both peak (at least imo)

These pairings are both good pretty cool! I don’t see a lot of Edling content compared to Edwin so whenever someone talks about it I’m reminded “oh yeah, this ship is pretty nice”.

Ed is not privileged bro he literally has two metal limbs, that cause him pain frequently if not constantly. His mom died, his dad left, and he's a child soldier. Like that's so much stuff. The only thing he has going for him is that he is rich and white (but he's maybe biracial cuz of Hohenheim so ehhh). He doesn't even use his money to benefit him, we literally only see him helping others with it. He can be kinda a brat but he's 14-16, he is still a child, and as a high schooler, we can all be brats sometimes. Unavoidable and not a grave sin.

As this ties into a previous confession I’ve received that I strongly disagree with, Edward Elric is not privileged. Anyone who says otherwise overviewed his character in a literal “why isn’t this guy doing that? He should know better!!!” Even though he’s a teenager. Him being young and reckless at times has been ESSENTIAL to his development which is why at the end of the story (in mangahood at least) he chooses to give up alchemy to symbolize that growth.

The peak queer Ed ship is Edling. They have my heart, I love my goofy guys so much.

I’ve heard about this ship in the past, and honestly I see the hype :] I don’t think about this ship often but I guess it’s pretty alright

It’s hard to find anything that isnt proshipping in this fandom 😭 its hard to be a person who doesnt ship intensely over here 💔 still remember my first time getting flashbanged by roy*d 🤢 genuinely didn’t expect it because i didnt think it EXISTED and then recently was looking at cute ed and al art from an artist i like only to see the tags and go OH GOD NOOOOO and unliked and unfollowed as quickly as possible (i don’t typically leave my personal google docs and didn’t realize outside of my oasis is a desert)

It's weird to me how, even after all this time, Royed is still disturbingly popular. When I look for things to reblog in the 'latest' section, i keep getting jumpscared by royed.

Team mustangs antics honestly would make for an amazing sitcom or mockumentry

This would be a fun watch if they ever made it. Team Mustang is so fun, both versions of their antics never fail to make me laugh so if there was a sitcom for them I’d be a fan for sure

one of my favorite characters is mrs. bradley. she has such a weird life. its gotta be wild. i need more mrs. bradley. her husband is one of the greatest fighters of all time and she punched him in the face. she saves pride from getting hit by a car. after pride is defeated, she accepts baby selim back with zero hesitation. and she doesn't even have a first name............. she doesn't even have a first name..... [head in hands]

I love Arakawa for making the background characters do some of ththe craziest shit sometimes
