like them or not, at least yanderes do what they do out of love. nagatoro is just mean for no reason and the main boy has no name just so people can self insert themselves into it. its not endearing at all, if i wanted to be bullied id go back to middle school.

They wrote the travesty of wasted potential that is LOKand tried making excuses every dang time for all their bad writing decisions and road on the coattails of ATLA for success when while they were the creators of the show they didn’t even do most of the writing FOR the show, that was other writers that is the reason ALTA was such a great show.

ALTA would of had so many of Korra’s writing issues had it not been for the other writers scrapping so many of Bryke’s terrible ideas.

@coolman229 went into more detail about it on one of his posts, I remember him having a chart of exactly how much Bryke had actually written in ATLA vs LOK.

Also they can be pretty nasty to some of their fans which I really don’t approve grown adults acting like petty adolescents.

Piggybacking on that Fighters post, I have to wonder if Vegeta shouting "You cocky bastard!" when firing a Final Flash is a result of the localization being the worst it's been since the old dub or just Vegeta being a hypocrite.

you know, that line is kind of hilarious, especially since Vegeta, of all people in the universe, is saying it. Maybe Vegeta is talking to himself when he fires it off.

I’m willing to buy that Vegeta lacks that much self awareness. 

But yea, it’s like if Freeza screamed “Take this you evil bastard!” right before firing off a Death Ball. Like...hello?

The English dub takes some weird liberties with the dialogue at times and I haven’t really poured through the DBFZ localization that much because I instantly kept the Japanese voices (I don’t even know why the dub is on in my game right now), but I kinda want to explore it and watch the English version of Kai to see what’s up.

The Daizenshuu notes that Dragon Ball, as the first arc neared completion, was losing readership. There was no major conflict, no set purpose beyond gathering the Dragon Balls, Pilaf was something of a weak villain, etc. So Toriyama’s editor at the time told him that the main character needed some sort of rival in order to push the MC and help further the narrative with at least some sort of conflict or competition, especially as this was a Shounen battle series.And thus, Krillin came to be, and when he debuted, readership spiked back upwards pretty quick.And thus, Krillin saved Dragon Ball.

Like, seriously, it'd be just as easy for someone to go "You only like them because they're girls!" and it'd be just as dumb as calling people who dislike them sexist. Don't resort to accusing people of sexism when you don't even know if they are or not, it's immature as hell.

Is it more immature than accepting it even begrudgingly when it’s done by a male character vs calling the female character who did a lesser offense one of the worst things to ever happen to the series and even start posting fantasies of her being tortured by Freeza for having the nerve to be gifted? Because that is what I see from a lot of this fandom, as I addressed in another post. When I see some of the same people I know who were fine with Vegeta getting a powerup that made him over 50x more powerful than he normally is just because Bulma got slapped, or simply mysteriously attaining god ki “by himself” with no further explanation getting upset about this, when I see people getting pissed about these two who were fine with Goten and Trunks, or even just annoyed, acting like these two are unprecedented levels of terribad... Well there’s only one major difference between them two and the others, honestly. So yeah, it’s not an unfair guess. Especially when we literally see Caulifla be taught how to do these things and control her transformations by Cabba and Goku, vs nothing for the others.
