Full Moon : For this new design, I made a simple cardboard stencil, cutting out a circle that would be a good size for clothing. Laying the stencil over the fabric, I am able to apply iron ink to just the circle of fabric exposed. The ink is then hung to dry, before dung and tannin baths to darken and oxidize the iron within it. So far I just made two of these shirts but I plan to make at least a couple in all sizes.
