Summertime; Probably one of my FAVORITE seasons on this great, green Earth! You get to be off from school, relax and enjoy the summer heat!
...Well, if you can withstand it, unlike me, heh.
I was currently sitting next to a cooling vent in my Aunt Olga' s house, trying to keep cool-wearing shorts, a tank top, and flip flops on, " Huff...huff...Oh my gosh, nothing' s working! Why is it so HOT today?!" I shouted in despair, groaning. It was totally unbearable; this heat was the WORST! It was like a dang OVEN in the house! I panted, turning the cooling vent up to MAX level, "Come on, this HAS to work...!" I muttered, standing face first in front of it.
An amused chuckle was heard from the back of the living room couch, a hand ruffling through my short hair, " Heh, can' t beat the summer heat, ay hun?" A female voice asked, as I looked over: It was my guardian/parental figure, Olga! I ended up living with her after my Mom and Dad passed away. She smiled down at me, giving me a kiss on the cheek, " Aunt Olga! Quit it, hehe!" I giggled softly, laughing. I could tell she was clearly enjoying this, " Aw, why? You gunna run away to that Commniverse place again?" She said, playfully. I couldn't help but chuckle to myself, smiling, " Oh HAR HAR, very funny." I sarcastically responded back, rolling my eye, still smiling.
