RATIONALITY

You like clarity and intelligent simplicity and you get frustrated at messy thinking. NEEDINESS

Being affirmed and nurtured by others is a central requirement for you to feel safe. This means you can be slow to warm up to other people, which is difficult because what you most need from them is their warmth. Yet you know how to be vulnerable: to let down your defences and accept that you need another person. This lack of pretence is a valuable trait, and ultimately more endearing than the macho efforts others make to deny their childlike sides.

REVERENCE

One part of you dreams of giving yourself up – perhaps just for a while – to a hero or mentor. In the right circumstances you can flourish by letting go of your ego. In your inner life, reverence plays out as a willing submission to your own conscience. In the outside world, you might get frustrated searching for something worth believing in – a country, a person, a company – but you will always be open to feeling respect, admiration and wonder.

PLAYFULNESS

You are good at seeing what’s funny, at relaxing and finding the pleasure of the moment. Play is random, whimsical, fantasy-driven behaviour which releases internal tension. Because it is detached from some pressures it allows you to act on weirder, perhaps neglected, parts of yourself. The downside is that it is no help in sticking with things that are not much fun but which need to be addressed. So it is well complemented by its opposite, Stoicism.

Oh no! Whatever will I do?

1. Who did your Inquisitor believe they saw in the fade? Did they think it was Andraste or if they believe in other gods, did they think it was a god of their own faith?

Adaara wasn’t sure what is was she saw in the fade, but she knew it wasn’t Andraste.

As far as she’s concerned, Andraste isn’t that special and she wouldn’t accept being some human’s emissary.

More than likely, she thought it may have been a helpful spirit but at her most hopeful she believed it could have been Mythal or–dare she believe–June, her Patron God.

1. What did your Inquisitor think of the Hawke they met? Did they clash? Were they friends? Was your Inquisitor in awe of the champion?

Her relationship with Filia was pleasant.

Adaara has mixed feelings about her as a person but respects and values Hawke as an important ally so they were on friendly terms.

For Adaara, publicly allying with Hawke was a bold political statement.

She’s still a fugitive, often credited for stirring the pot of the mage-templar war, publically defended (and practically eloped with) the man who blew up a Chantry, and here Adaara is offering her asylum!

This was basically a huge middle finger directed at the Chantry, the templars, and anyone else who thinks she isn’t about to pull the rug from up under their feet.

And Hawke is a good ally.

She’s tough in a fight and is someone mages seem to trust.

Plus she’ll kill Red Templars for free!

It’s a win!

1. What became of Corypheus’ generals, either Calpernia or Samson? What did your Inquisitor think of them? Misguided but redeemable, or evil?

Adaara let Dagna experiment on Samson to see what she could find.

He was a pain in her side and it was funny to use him as a test subject–plus it benefitted the Inquisition (which was most important.)

She didn’t particularly care much for Samson or bother to think about his motivations–she never really felt any sympathy for him but despite knowing he was just misguided.
