Started drawing this a while ago and only finished now. lol
But I wanted to show the reason as to why Nozumi was muttering odd phrases outside Balam's window, she wasn't just freaking out Balam for no reason, she discovered that he could actually understand her.
So she looked for him and started saying as many words as she knew to see if he would respond.
Unfortunately, she just ended up haunting his dreams and making him sleep over at Kalago's house...
But her roommate/caretaker/landlady/a whole lot of roles, Mrs. Valac, picked up on the fact she wanted to talk, so she set up a meet-up, Balam tried to bolt at first, but realized she was trying to talk, after looking through a few books of the human language, and a few sessions of getting to know each other (as well as one can without knowing each others language), Nozumi finally managed to tell her story... Most of it.
After months of ignoring our terrible ant infestation, apartment management finally notified us today that they will be sending in pest control. I left this note on the door:
