16.3 mile run! Longest training run. The .3 was to replicate the ever annoying “extra” mileage at the end of the race that can really mess with your mind... And because I was .3 miles short of my house. 😂 The last couple of miles all I could think about was salt and soda (that’s always my craving) and so when I got home I grabbed my soda and some Pringle’s and jumped into my hot tub. Ahh.... I spent some time reflecting on my run since this is my last long one until my marathon, and I was overall happy. I was happy with my pace, my physical and mental strength and the fact that I was able to fuel and hydrate properly.
