end of the year always makes me sappy so can I just say

starting to write and share fanfic this year has been the first time I’ve felt confident in my writing and been genuinely happy just making and sharing something creative :3

it’s fun to share this secret life with other weirdos!! it’s fun to make totally self-indulgent smut and brighten somebody’s day with it. writing something I think is beyond insane and then waking up to keysmashes and fire emojis from strangers who Get Me? sharing unhinged ideas with other writers and forming these strange, anonymous yet wildly personal friendships?

it’s so freeing and gratifying and like… idk weirdly anti-capitalist? seems like most of us do this for the love of the game
