Hello....... Yapping about my Nikolai + Fyodor headcanons here. At some point there will also be general Fyolai/pairing headcanons too, but it's late and I'm trying to figure out what I want to do with my free time instead of going to bed because its too early still. Enjoy!!!

NIKOLAI HCS 🕊️

-> Astigmatism in left eye. Specifically the one he keeps uncovered, and for some reason, my brain realistically sees him having either complete heterochromia or central heterochromia!! Colors are always some kinda green for his right (covered) eye, while the other is a faded blue-grey almost silver. I believe this is canon however, at least in the anime adaptation of BSD -> Spaces out frequently and/or has trouble with dissociating. Maladaptive daydreaming king as well, honestly, to the point of thinking he's gone back and done things within the daydreams he has. -> Hyposensitivity. Feels the need to chew random stuff, listen to music really loud or always be in motion somehow. Cannot stay still to save his life, mostly because stagnancy feels 'wrong' to him. (Bird allegations. he needs a lot of attention and the best way to reprimand him is to not give him attention at all or divert his attention span. SOURCE: I own two birds as my pets. yurp) -> Transmasc of some flavor. Or just trans of some flavor? also plus sized or chubby, doesn't really have a preference when it comes to people he's interested in, but I will say personally I like to think he's on the aroace spectrum, grey aroace specifically. Both because he 'didn't really understand' a need for love nor romance in general until Fyodor came along, and it fucks with his brain really bad. -> HATES questioning himself, along with who or what he is. If someone were to ask what he enjoys doing and he didn't have a concrete answer to it, there's a 50/50 shot he'll divert the question onto whoever is asking, or he might go batshit crazy and start killing people. It makes him think too much. He doesn't enjoy thinking too much, either -> Charismatic when he wants to be! Also incredibly intelligent. I believe a lot of people in the BSD fandom in general tend to forget that Nikolai as a person and character IS incredibly intelligent. If you boil his personality down to 'Haha funny quirky insane clown hahahaaaa jesterrr jesterrr hes so uwu baby' and it's NOT in a satire way, you have directly fallen for his facade. good job!!!!! That's exactly what he wants -> STUPIDLY good at singing, along with pitching his voice around all crazy style. INSANE vocal range. like. absolutely mad vocal range on that guy. He also, much like a bird, cannot stop talking or singing ever. Nikolai will sing at random times when happy or content with his surroundings, and silence is near-deafening to him unlike other people

-> Fyodor is taller than him. no i will not elaborate. 6"0 on the wiki? that can't be right -> Warm a lot of the time, sort of like a human heater! Also is incredibly dexterous with his hands and holds stuff 'weirdly,' as if he were giving someone a playing card at all times, if it's small enough to be held like that. FYODOR HCS 🐀 -> Since we don't really know his entire backstory and, controversial opinion I am choosing to rewrite the latter chapters of BSD (Asagiri when I GET You) I believe he used to be pretty empathetic as a child. Something in him snapped when he discovered his ability CENTURIES ago though. Firm believer in the idea of 'Someone tried to kill Fyodor as a child and that's why he believes humanity is inherently cruel' because it makes SENSE to me. it just does. -> On that same line of thinking about his ability actually, he has incision scars/stitches stretching from his torso and spiraling toward his wrists to the inward bit of his thighs, like he's been flayed open and stitched back together. He keeps them covered mostly, but it's a visual depiction of how 'recently' Fyodor has taken over the body of someone else. The fresher the stitches, the more recent the death -> Built like a cryptid. Tall as FUUUUUCK. The only person that's taller than him in the DOA is Sigma, and maybe Bram as a close second. Extremely lanky, has bony fingers. Looks like a ghost for lack of a better term. -> Has visual snow syndrome. Everything he sees is overlapped with a faint static-y glow! it sucks! he doesn't mind it much, but it can be annoying in a dark room or when he closes his eyes for too long or something -> Chronic fatigue or POTS haver. I don't think I need to explain this one but he's tired ALL the time and has no way to combat it. just tired. he's learned how to handle it though -> Also transmasc. Doesn't have a 'typical' view of platonic or romantic love or. any. view of love whatsoever actually. Bro just exists... any romantic/platonic view of relationships has some sort of visceral or 'odd' attachment behind it. He's still compassionate as a person to those he ACTUALLY cares for but like in a fucked up way -> Has forced his emotions down so much to the point of having a completely empty head unless he's thinking. It's like a sheet of thick layered ice. Stupidly confident to the point that when he does overthink, it scares him. If someone challenges his confidence and it's logical to him, NOT them, he gets terrified or lashes out and he doesn't enjoy it much at all -> Rat-like kinda. He scurries around quietly at night time, prefers to go out at night, and hates the daylight in general. Prefers closed off spaces where he can feel 'safe' and secure, enjoys being curled up on because of the pressure on his body. Deep pressure therapy!!!!! -> Also on the rat-like traits, Fyodor seems like a pretty quiet individual, unless there's someone that piques his interest near him. Much like a rat chittering at random, he's quiet until he starts talking someone's ear off. On top of this, he can be pretty curious and investigative as a passive trait if he Actually Cares (rare as fuck)

look, its really suspicious the immediat friendship between fyodor and punishment in dead apple(maybe the hability can "speak "with he by the head?)

i researched some schizophrenic syntons and includ agressive condurte, social isolation, superiority complex, apathy, religious delirium, paranoia and apparently there may be comcomitance between sociopathy/ psicopathy (almost canon) and schizophrenic

but this is only a hadcanon. he really have, probably not, but it would be interesting abording it in a fanfic '<'

Nikolai: Sounds delightfully horrible. When can we start? I'll grab some nails and wine.

Fyodor: I'm ready when you are. By the way, when we finish, you'll also be erased from your body, but not completely. Some of "you" will be fused with "me" for eternity. You will no longer be you and I won't have to be me. We'll be changed completely and never come back from it. You don't mind?

Nikolai: Never. That's sounds amazing! I always knew you were my true friend. You know my needs like no one else!

Fyodor who goes on countless dates with you-the movies, a cafe, a picnic, only the best options for you. You’ve charmed him into falling in love with you.

Fyodor who gets married to you, the most perfect wedding with the most perfect people. With how much he cares for you, Fyodor ensures the day goes just as planned.

Fyodor who switches bodies without you even noticing, how could you? He looked the same afterall-and acted as if nothing ever happened.

Fyodor who watches as you perish from old age, vowing to find you again one day. If he doesnt find you then he’ll pray god let you into heaven.

Fyodor who now is in his third body finds you again-reincarnated into a new form. He remembers every signs thing you did together and recreates all of those dates with you.

Fyodor who in his fourth life found you again-did the sane things yet rushed marriage as soon as he found you…

Fyodor in his fifth form Found you. Again. Got married. Again. Yet never payed much attention to you. After marriage he kept you as a stay at home mom, never really leaving the house unless it’s important. Your only friends being himself and your family.

Fyodor who is now in his 6th body, kidnaps you… Only he can protect you from the cursed world and Fyodor cannot bare to see you die again and forget all those memories. Even if it means he needs to keep you away from everything.

Fyodor who kills for you-having never left his house you dont have anyone to talk to anyway. Except if someone ever did something bad (to you or him), they’re dead to him.

Fyodor who leaves the house for a few months on a misson to Yokohama, telling you to stay inside and wait for him. As much as he hates it someone else can give you food for the time being.
