gonna go with headcanons if thats ok!

+ definitely a mean pred, but mostly in a teasing or friendly way. he likes to play pranks on his friends by eating them at inopportune times

+ his nom pranks come in two flavors: sudden bird of prey from above (surprise noms!) and the kind where he follows them around for several minutes, taunting them or joking about eating them, and then actually does it

+ will sometimes nom two people without telling the second that there's someone in there already. this has lead to a disgruntled mumbo falling on a damp and now-squished scar many times

+ definitely active, not the kind to take a nap after a meal, and will absolutely run around doing it to everyone he can get

+ this sometimes leads to a stomachache

+ totally worth it though

+ also! protective watcher!grian noms,,,, yea

+ i like watcher!grian's true form being a Lot bigger than his normal form, so the idea of him seeing a threat to his fellow hermits and suddenly being a Towering Being Of Eldritch Sight the size of a skyscraper is good shit

+ in this 'verse, he would nom whichever of his friends are present to protect them from the threat. he wont (and in fact cant) digest them, but theyyyy probably dont know that yet

+ in his true form, with his Sight, he would also be omnisciently aware of their fear, what they're saying, what they look like, etc.... which probably makes scaring his friends that much more painful

Sometimes when you're drawing, 'I'm going to make all of the eyes look at him because he's horrified of what he has become. He can't look away' turns into 'Wow! This art really redirects your gaze to Grian's eyes!' Sometimes drawing meaning turns into creating artistic symbolism. On accident
