i can't believe will fell asleep in the car with hannibal. will, who can't make it through the night without waking up in a sweat, terror beating in his heart. will, who sleeps in his living room so he can be constantly aware of possible danger. he sleeps in the car with hannibal, who could kill him at any moment. on the run from the cops, with a serial killer out for them, lurking in wait. that's how safe he feels with him. and hannibal looks at him so tenderly, lets him rest. it's the first peaceful sleep we ever see him have, and it's with hannibal at the end of the world
