Where would one began making/remaking a wildwest/victorain save for sims 2 for the upcoming year? I want to to do a Wild/weird west Strangetown
hi gabbypie64!
I'm so glad more people are getting into the wild western era/aesthetic. There's already an answered ask on my tumblr linked here, but I'll give you more recommendations depending on what type of gameplay you're gravitating towards.
Garden of Shadows has great grunge and apocalyptic style custom content if you're looking for a more realistic aesthetic.
If you're more of a 'maxis-match' simmer, @sims4t2bb is an amazing resource. Specifically, I'd recommend Horse Ranch, Life & Death, Vampires, Realm of Magic, Strangerville, Spooky Stuff, Crystal Creations, Storybook Nursery, and Castle Estate.
And if 3t2 is more your vibe, @3t2database and this database on livejournal are great starting points. Specifically the Supernatural expansion pack.
@mortia also has an amazing resource if you're going full-blown historical with it. Hopefully this is comprehensive enough! Of course, let me know if you need any more pointers and happy simming <3
-one of them they/hes. they’re usually ascribed a male identity (”man in the moon”/”sandman”/etc), which they don’t object to, but it’s more complicated than that.
-a hermit, but has the most positive opinion of humans out of the nocturn-clockwork-undergrowth-vortex superfecta. (clockwork is a close second.) they’re mischievous in their quiet, underhanded way, but quite sentimental.
-clockwork and nocturn know each other. clockwork thinks nocturn is too whimsical; nocturn disagrees with how clockwork handles the trio.
-if nocturn knows undergrowth too, they bicker about parenting. just picture a bunch of shooting stars rocketing down on some trees as disembodied voices roar through the ether, “you’re coming on too strong, that’s why she doesn’t reach out” “at least i’m taking an active role in her life, maybe if you did too the boy’d have a few less problems” “you fucking take that back”
-p much everyone in the superfecta has a design that stretches off the frame because they’re so massive.
-if they had a phone they’d be on pinterest. the aesthetic side, i mean.
-they like bugs! nightcrawlers and centipedes especially. they tend to use them to fuck with people when they‘ve been pissed off, though.
-danny had a sleepwalking phase (specifically sleepwalking into the backyard) and i’m not saying it’s nocturn’s fault, but it’s nocturn’s fault.
-for obvious reasons, they can’t be seen during the day. i imagine if danny really, really needed to talk to them and couldn’t wait till night fell, he’d just down as much ZzzQuil as he could get by with and hope Nocturn isn’t too nonplussed with him in the resulting dream.
Dani in the cult-verse or hc or however you want to put it Says some thing about being Plasmus creation and Danny telling her that that she is her own being made from him or not and the cults find out about this conversation
.
Oh dear. All that would certainly cause some Theories (tm) among the cultists.
Sorry this took so long @gabbypie64 I was the step in ghost that filled in since something came up with your own gifter. I hope you enjoy!
Comfort Nook
Jazz sighed as she ran her hand gently over the book spines as she walked down the aisle. She had been to this library many times now, browsing through both old and new tomes, discovering books that she hadn't even known about, and how much she had learned. Hearing a slight growl towards her right Jazz Fenton paused, giving the ghost a calm questioning look.
"Can I help you?"
"Yeah, by leaving our library," the ghost hissed, though it kept it's voice low.
Turning back towards the books Jazz shrugged, reaching out to pull a book down, "I was told this was a place that anyone could learn, as long as they stuck to the rules."
As had happened before Jazz watched as the fight left the ghost, if not the annoyance. They both knew that fighting wasn't allowed here, neither was yelling. She doubted they were willing to break the rules, not if they had come to her whispering of all things, so she wasn't worried that they would try anything now. It hadn't been the first time in the few years that she had been coming here that a ghost had tried to get her to leave, and she doubted that they would be the last.
"Is there a problem here?" Another ghost asked, though this one she didn't turn towards, knowing who it was by their voice alone.
The first ghost grumbled, but made no comment before moving away. "You and brother always seem to attract negative attention," the ghost commented to her, and she couldn't help but smile.
"To be fair, Danny's problem is that he is always trying to kick the ghosts out of town, where they want to be, my problem is that I have moved into a place where they don't want humans to be." Shelving the book she had picked up she turned around to smile at GhostWriter, "It's been awhile."
"It has been," he smiled at her, "college going well I take it?"
"Of course," Jazz told him with a nod, moving her bag to the front so that she could pull out some books, "brought you more for your collection too. The campus library was getting rid of a lot of their older books so I got some that I thought you would be interested in."
Chuckling the writer floated the books over towards him, looking each of them over, "Always thinking of others," he spoke with a fond smile, before turning to her. He was going to say something else when he noticed the bags under the elder Fenton's eyes, the way that her shoulders hunched over instead of their normal straight and proud posture she carried herself with, the way she sometimes gripped her bag a bit too tight. Frowning he sent the books off with every intention to look them over more thoroughly later, "Jasmine, when was the last time that you slept?"
"Uh, last night?" she answered him honestly not sure where this had come from.
GhostWriter, however, just crossed his arms over his chest, "Really?"
"Yeah, I got at least three hours, I lost track of time while I was working on my paper, and had to get up early today to go help Mom and Dad, then Danny needed to talk to me about something that was happening to him, and then I had an outing with some of my old friends, and I know I didn't come to see you last time that I had gotten a break and..."
Holding his hand up he paused the rant that he knew had just been getting started, "It is your break Jasmine, you shouldn't be running around like this. You should be taking a break after how hard you have been working."
Smiling at him Jazz shook her head, "I'm fine Writer, I..."
"No. You will come have some tea, and then, at the very least, you will sit in our nook and read or write something that you want to for the pure enjoyment of it, not because it is for something that you are trying to finish for an assignment. You are going to end up working yourself to death at the rate that you have been going," the ghost chided, shooing her towards their nook before floating off to get some tea.
Jazz couldn't help but chuckle at that one, knowing how often she had told Writer about her crazy schedule. She didn't mind the work, honestly, she liked keeping herself busy, but she had learned, much to her brother's surprise, to take days to relax and slow down. Seemed like this one was going to be forced on her. Walking towards the back of the library she placed her hand against one of the Library's walls, watching as it faded to reveal their nook.
It wasn't large, just a small hidden place for those that wanted to make sure that they were left alone to enjoy whatever book they had picked up. It wasn't the only one in the library, but it was the one that she and Writer used. A smile tugged at her lips as she thought about it, she hadn't known what to make of the ghost library the first time that she had stumbled across it looking for her brother. He had, apparently, been using it as a place to study, knowing that he would be left alone while he was there. She had tried everything to not be taken in by the rows and rows of books, but hadn't been able to help herself. Her little brother had made it clear that the ghost whose lair it was didn't mind who visited as long as they followed the rules and treated the books within correctly, mumbling about not wanting to get on his bad side.
Getting herself comfortable, Jazz pulled out a notebook from her bag, tapping the eraser against her lips. Had it really only been a few years that she had been coming here? It felt like far longer. Maybe that was because time always seemed to stretch on whenever she was here.
Her thoughts didn't have long to wander before GhostWriter joined her, offering her a cup of her favorite teas and making himself comfortable next to her. Giving a soft thanks she took in the pleasing aroma, feeling muscles relax that she hadn't even realized that she had been holding taunt.
"Honestly," Writer spoke with a huff, "one would think you of all people would know when they needed to take a break. I thought we had been through this already."
Jazz couldn't help but laugh, "You're right, we have been. Though I could ask you the same thing. When's the last time you had a break from your latest writing?"
"It's different, but yes, I am due for one as well," he grinned taking a sip of his coffee. "Haven't had anyone bothering me to take them for awhile after all."
"Heaven forbid someone try and get you out of your room when you are writing," Jazz dead panned fighting the smile that was trying to sneak past her.
Huffing, GhostWriter turned up his nose, taking another sip, even though his grin wasn't as hidden. Leaning against his side, the scratching of a pen filled the silence between them, both relaxing and recharging in the other's company. Slowly the scratching slowed, more and more of Jazz's weight leaning against the spirit, though he made no mention of it. It wasn't until he heard her pen hit the floor that he turned to look at her with a chuckle.
I’m guessing you mean ‘damages’ and not ‘danages’. Honestly, we actually get the money sent to us by some weird government organization. I’ve never actually met any of them, but one of my coworkers said they look like a reversed version of the Men In Black.
They’d even tried to convince us to put up anti-ghost weapons as well, but the Fentons threatened to sue because of how ghost sensors have been locking onto their son ever since some accident he had with one of their inventions a while ago.
realistic: she was the favorite over aragon between their parents. he was still the heir apparent, but dora was always the more tolerable one
while it may not be realistic it is hilarious: whenever she runs into the trio again, tucker always winds up explaining modern-day technology to her, and dora (having draconic tendencies) always ends up stealing a little bit for her hoard
