Bestie x Bestie
We’re really curious how this will look, sound, feel, and how edgy it might get. Will it be Archer, but a tad more socially conscious? Maybe, since Schur’s involved, an animated version of Brooklyn Nine-Nine with higher stakes? Also, whether intentional or not, this should pair nicely with Netflix’s drag superhero cartoon Super Drags.
It’s hard to say at this point, but Mike Schur and Gabe Liedman and Sean Hayes together ought to come up with something that’s worth binging through whenever this comes out.
SLYTHERIN: "Plans are plans, I'm a badass, not an anarchist." –Gabe Liedman (Rosa Diaz: Brooklyn Nine-Nine: Windbreaker City)
- I can’t believe he walked into the store. That’s a sign. - And that would be a sign saying... - Like, that I’m a present in a box and that he and I should go and start our beautiful life together. - You know, I’m not a straight guy... - What? - ... but my guess is that most of them would hate that gift. - What? You’re saying that a guy doesn’t want a drunk, pregnant girl in a box? - If you’re a serial killer.
Obvious Child, Gillian Robespierre (2014)
HUFFLEPUFF: “Look, let’s just agree to say ‘I’m sorry’ on the count of three. One, two, three… See, now I’m just disappointed in both of us.” –Gabe Liedman + Gil Ozeri (Jake Peralta: Brooklyn Nine Nine: Charges and Specs)
HUFFLEPUFF: “Why didn’t Kevin want to invite us? We could have been really cool people! We weren’t. But we could have been!” –Gil Ozeri + Gabe Liedman (Amy Santiago: Brooklyn Nine Nine: The Party)
