Anyone watch Message From Space Galactic Wars?

I'm watching it on Midnight Pulp because I saw the Sankukai dub of it a few years ago, and I wanted to see it again since this version was subtitled. I really like it because I like the various monsters, and the superhero persona's of the main characters. Plus there's something about it that feels like a precursor to Metal Heroes or at least the Space Sherriff series.

Galactic Wars 1 (ギャラクティック・ウォーズ１) - Nihon Falcom - Casio FP1100 - 1982

This is an advertisement for the first game Nihon Falcom ever published, a 1982 title called Galactic Wars 1. The ad seems to mention something about how sales are surging across the country and that Falcom’s goal is to sell 10,000 copies. That may have been an impressive number for the time (this ad was from 1983) but Falcom would blow that number out of the water a few years later when they created Xanadu in 1985, which would famously go on to sell 400,000 units.

The charr have a much more in-depth backstory than the asura so I gotta spend some time thinking on how to translate that in to sci-fi bullshit. I’m thinking the titans were a space faring race that descended on to their planet and uplifted them for military purposes??

An essay

In the year 2188 the human fleet, led by Admiral Emina Gailis, ventured out of the Sol system, our system, to the nearest star. There we began colonizing worlds like the planet of extreme cold known as Thatcher Beta. Further explorations a year later revealed vast, mined caverns underground with alien language and technology that us humans knew nothing about. Admiral Gailis and the tenth fleet, on an exploration mission months later, discovered Salodaci ships in space. When the ships fired, December of 2189, the war began. But, did this war every really end? Twenty-four years later, relations are still tense and communications spotty, there have been multiple unexplained attacks, and perhaps, most importantly, no true peace treaty was ever signed.
