joowon was starting to feel like his disguises were getting worse and worse as time went by. his height made it difficult to lay low, but at the same time, with a mask and hat on, it was really hard to tell who he was. all of this was tricky, but completely worth it for the boy in love. he had rented out a small airbnb kind of place for the weekend for the two of them. it was in a remote enough location that it didn’t seem likely anyone would follow them out here. he had even bought enough groceries so that they could cook and also brought along entertainment they could busy themselves with, not to mention the beautiful trails that were around the area that they could visit likely without anyone bothering them. now, for her to arrive.

Euna didn’t remember running being this exhausting. She’d made it a little over two miles before she’d willingly dropped herself down on the pavement of the running trail, panting and attempting to catch her breath. Still, a smile graced over her features as she thought about how satisfying it was to get out and move instead of keeping herself locked up at home all day. 

“Oof,” she said to herself as she watched someone nearby take a hard fall. Euna grimaced and pushed herself off the ground to go after them and make sure they were alright.

                     the colder season was long gone but that didn’t stop people from heading to the outdoor ice rink in town. asami hadn’t even planned on it -- it just sort of happened -- walking by what once was her favorite place to run to when she was younger. distracted as she stared at the kids, the girl didn’t even realize there was someone walking towards her until the side of her head hit them. “oh!” former skater stumbles backward but manages to steady herself before looking at the person she just bumped into. “i’m so sorry, i-- david?”

it was another normal friday night for caleb, he had a fairly busy shift, serving customers and making drinks, he didn’t mind the busyness. he was on his break, sitting in a booth when he saw the other enter the bar, he’d not seen them in a little while. quickly finishing up the food in front of him he joins the other at the bar, giving them a grin, “hey! how have things been?” he asks, as he sits on the barstool next to the other.

Mikey is safe. Of course he’s safe. Had he not been taken out of his house by CPS as a child, he would have been dead at this point. Still, that’s not to say he doesn’t have trauma. There’s a reason he was taken out of his biological father’s home. When Collin shakes him awake, he grabs onto his arms to steady himself. To reground himself and tell him this isn’t just another dream. He’s real, he’s solid. He didn’t miss the nightmares. He bit his lip, loosening his grip. “Really?”

Ian yawned and rubbed his eyes. Who would be calling him at 2 a.m.? “Hello?” Answered the man sleepily. He recognized the voice immediately but he couldn’t understand anything. One sentence didn’t connect with the previous one, making the whole ‘conversation’ incoherent (Although Ian hadn’t said a single word because he didn’t have the chance to). “No, wait, I don’t know what you are talking about. You’re drunk, aren’t you?”

He wasn’t feeling good about it, on the one hand, he was mad because they were drunk and woke him up for no reason in the middle of the night but on the other hand… Maybe there was a reason. “Where are you? Tell whoever is with you to take you home now! It’s late…. Oh no, you are alone, right?” His anger faded away, replaced by concern.
