Strill WIP
Strills are a species of hunting… animal from star wars favored by the Mandolorians and are kind of famous for having a million and a half interpretations of what they look like. This is my personal headcanon at to the origins and what one breed of ‘domestic’ Strill might look like.
A quick illustration of the WORST weapon ever made in a D&D game, to practice new brushes and tablet!
Some Sketches of my OCs! Most are Star Wars based but they all have backstories, if you want to hear them! Mostly I’m just practicing colors and line work, and trying to get out of a depressive Slump lol.
A Very Nice Alien Bee Lady for funsies and a gift for @thebisexualmandalorian! I haven’t quite come up with a name for her but she’s very fluffy and loves hugs!
Chrysridia rhipheus, or Madagascar Sunset Moth
11x 14 inches, Color pencil and solvent on Mixed Media paper.
This was a tremendously fun project, because it;s not often I get a natural specimen that actually comes in Lisa Frank Colors. The left-hand side is the Top side of the moth, the right is it’s underside. The frame is based on some hand-dyed fabric my mom got from Madagascar. Special Shout-Out to the Denver Museum of Nature And Science, for letting our class into the basement to look at specimens! That was the coolest field trip ever!
Fictional Moth an Butterfly
Based loosely on the Promethan Moth and the Malachite Butterfly. Maker and color pencil on mixed media paper.
This week's homework was to design an alphabet for critique. This was a ton of fun! (Even if I'm the only person in class that works on paper)
