Saw someone asking why galra characters in the show talk about how hard life is for them and how they had to claw their way up etc. and had to physically restrain myself from saying "idk man maybe because a lot of the ones who end up in the military are disabled, chronically ill and/or trans because military service is the only reliable way to get really good medical care" and wow that's a whole can of worms I didn't realize was hiding out in my brain

I really wish the "Galra kin" tag was more of a thing, like, I love and support all Paladins but I find it really difficult to relate most of the time and it's hard to sift through the general source tags that Voltron kin use for relatable stuff.
