🌕 Selene and Endymion 🐺

I shopped images together to make this piece for myself and @morgue-ghoul. In many versions of the myth, Endymion is a shepherd, and my brain said "shepherd -> dog -> wolf," since @morgue-ghoul identifies with werewolves due to his transness. Selene is, of course, the Moon, which relates to the shape of tyto owl faces, which is one of my Other-Hearted animal synpaths. @morgue-ghoul has said of us that he's a werewolf who found his Moon Goddess, and so these combined ideas were my inspiration

I never understood before how having more than one daemon worked, because I came into the TDF community at a time where that wasn't accepted.

Now I have two daemons ? :V I decided to reach back out after many years, and a totally new outlook on myself and our system, and two of the lil dudes popped out!

Well, "lil," one is a Homotherium lol, prehistoric cat is big. She's very calm and strong. It explains why I've had these species feelings floating around, and now it's clear that it's an animal-hearted thing bc that's inextricably tied to daemonism for me.

The other is a form-fluid one who seems to change forms with circumstance and emotion (tho he likes Painted Dog, another of my heart-types) and is very animated and exaggerated. It's interesting what happens when I focus on them, too. I can enter a trance faster if I focus on whatever space I interact with them in, and it feels like there's a genuinely spiritual nature to their existence and how I perceive them. It's interesting being able to have a wider view of daemonism now that "2008 TDF intense focus on analysis and form-finding and strict ways of being" isn't The Way anymore.

THERIAN AND OTHERKIN COMMUNITY/nm

So, I think I may be other-hearted, but I want some outside sight.

I do admire lions and relate to various canines... But I do not identify AS them. I do not believe I AM a lion/canine. I know I'm human. I also do not experience shifts or animalistic urges or anything like that. But, I do feel like I may have been a dog or other canine in my past life (and maybe a lion too now that I think about it). I haven't done any meditation or anything like that to find out yet, though, so I may update on my blog later. Are these things commonly associated with being other-hearted? If I do not exhibit traits of other-heartedness/otherkinity/therianthropy, then can I still participate in making the masks and stuff? I think that it's really cool! Not active enough to do quadrobics tho, lol
