hey everyone, please remember you can accept and acknowledge your physical/biological nonhumaness and *still* take care of your body

accepting that your body isn't human doesn't stop you from taking care of the body you do have, and please don't think that it does (I saw an argument that said accepting your body as not being biologically human will cause those to neglect themselves)

it isn't wrong to understand that your body isn't human (mine isn't, in anyway)

but just for a general life thing:

drink water and eat meals

bathe yourself

it's good to get doctor checkups if able

brush your fangs and teeth+gums and your tongue

spend some time outside :)

Hi, im Akira, I am a Therian and otherhearted. And I need to set some things straight.

-just because you have gear dosent nessisarily mean your a therian, I believe we should stop calling it “therian gear” because some people are not therians and are otherhearted, or just love the way the gear looks or they are furrys who can’t afford a fursuit

-you DONT choose your theriotypes, you are born with them

-Theriantropy Is. Not. a. Choice.

-there is MANY beliefs and theories on WHY we exist, the most popular being past lives, my personal belief is that I am an animal in other universes and in this one I was born in the wrong body. Past lives, while being the most common belief is not nessesarily everyone’s belief please be kind to those with other beliefs

-you can stop IDENTIFYING as a therian, but u will never stop being a therian, with an exception being that you don’t fit in the therian category, and you really otherhearted or something (this is just an example)

-the therian community has gotten toxic, and some therians feel like they aren’t real therians because they can’t show it via gear (spread the news, from here on out on oct. 4 therians should try to not wear gear, because we all need a reminder that gear dosent define us) because I KNOW therians look at this say “Ik gear isn’t very important “ and go on to doomscrolling picture after picture of stunning masks wishing theirs is as good.

no, I don’t think gear is bad, I love my tail and mask, but I feel like the community has become more focused on gear than supporting each other and haveing a good community safe from antis
