12 years ago today, Dragon Ball Kai: Ultimate Butoden was originally released as a Nintendo DS exclusive only in JP. It was developed by Game Republic and published by Namco Bandai Games.

Brave Story: New Traveler / ブレイブストーリー 新たなる旅人

This is yet another PSP title that didn’t get a European / PAL release. Based on the novel Brave Story this PSP game tell the tale of a different character who enters the world of Vision after the novel character. This was released along side a PlayStation 2 game in Japan, that was a different game that did follow the main novel character Wataru. The PS2 game was by Sims and was a live action RPG similar to Zelda, where as this PSP title plays like Final Fantasy.

Wataru does make an appearance in the PSP game and XSeed Games did the English release.

Short gameplay look from the PS3 PSN title Dark Mist, which is a Gauntlet style hack and slash. Now in Europe only the base game was released, not the DLC, North America didn't get either. Which is a real shame as this is a great little game and a real hidden gem.

The sad thing is that the DLC (The Depths of Darkness) adds in a huge amount of extra content including, three new playable characters, a new set of stages, offline and online play, Couch Co-op Battle Royal and a new hard mode and allows you to continue from the stage you died on. Doubling the size of the base game in total.
