Hafthor Bjornsson tells The Mountain he’ll ‘rip your f*ing head’ after call-out
In the boxing ring, Eddie 'The Beast' Hall has told strongman competitor Hafthor Bjornsson that he will "rip his f***ing head off." Bjornsson, who rose to fame as The Mountain in hit HBO Game of Thrones series, beat hall's 2016 deadlift world record after lifting an impressive 501 kg. The Icelandic tyrant called out Brit Hall, who won World's Strongest Man in 2017, after his amazing feat of strength and challenged him to a is supersized fight. The two have been in a war of words for a long time, each blaming the other of cheating beforehand. Also, in the build-up to the jump, 32-year-old Hall believed that the 501 kg record would not be valid, because it was performed in his gym rather than in competition-but afterwards he did congratulate him. After 6 ft 9 in Hafthor Bjornsson, 31, challenged Hall to a fight, The Beast replied: "I am going to sign those papers for 1,000 per cent. “And you know why I’m going to sign those papers… it’s not the money, it’s not the dead lift feud we’ve got going on, nothing to do with that. “It’s because you called me a cheat at World’s Strongest Man 2017. “I can’t put that to bed, I can’t forget it. People may forget it, but you’ve never apologized. “You think you should’ve won that year, regardless of the trophies or not, and you let people know that.” Hall, who is about six inches shorter than his 6 ft 3 in opponent, added: " I cannot have that, that’s why I’m going to sign those papers. “Because I want to teach you a lesson. And that lesson is going to be me knocking you the f*** out. “I don’t care if you’re six foot nine (inches), I don’t care if you’re an actual giant. I don’t care. “I’m gonna train the hardest, prepare the hardest… do everything in my power to step in that ring and rip your f***ing head off. “So Thor, get training, I’ll see you in the ring.” Game of Thrones star Hafthor Julius Bjornsson broke the world record of deadlifts after successfully lifting an amazing 501 kg. British actor Eddie Hall holds the previous record and was the first man to lift 500 kg back in 2016. The lift left Hall with blood running from his eyes, but Bjornsson made his attempt a little easy to look at. The record was made at his gym in his native Iceland due to the coronavirus pandemic, 'Thor' - who played The Mountain in the hit HBO series -.
