Continuing into 2024, I continued playing racing games. I tried to make it my main genre. You just drive. That's all. It was supposed to be simple and fun. Like an action RPG or shooter, just racing. That's what I thought. But it didn't work out that way. WRC 6 is a serious simulator after all. Constant drifts, speed control. I just kept doing laps in that rally in single races. Just for fun.
Forest, summer. Winter, fields. Sand, desert. I've been everywhere. I played the most at the beginning of the year. In winter. And I loved the summer tracks. Fields and flowers. Everything was so beautifully done. I played it more as a driving simulator. Of course, I never won.
I always came in last. But I enjoyed driving it. Beautiful cinematic graphics. Very realistic textures. Good dynamics. Everything is great! The cockpit view is like a separate game altogether. But I drove in third-person. Standard view. What I call it – a rear view.
In short, as a summer resident, I really enjoyed driving on summer tracks. But it's still a rally. Not a road trip. And I was getting a bit tired of the sharp turns. And I tried some other racing games. Redout is fantastic, like the idea of a futuristic racing genre like Wipeout. With gliders. Supersonic, super-fast cars of the future that look like triangles, for example. Fantastic view. It's varied. I tried some other things there.
And I focused my attention on Rush Rally 3. Also a rally. Also a race. Very similar to Colin McRae Rally 1, 2, 3. Something like that. But then again, it's its own twist. It can even be played like an arcade. And that's what I like. I'm a big fan of arcade games like Outrun 2006, Need For Speed 2, 3, 4. I discovered a new star in the world of racing games.
There are lots of cars to choose from. You can upgrade them, install different parts. Change the appearance. Put on stickers. Everything is beautiful. And there are lots of tracks. You earn points and spend them on new cars. On upgrades. It's a fun concept. The graphics are nice, nice. It's fun and plays well.
There are lots of tracks. Day and night. Winter and forest in summer. And everything is there. And they've brought in some nice graphics too. It's a nice arcade-style design. And the tracks are fun to drive. Essentially, they're arcade racing. And grinding. So, you compete in championships for points. And that's what you do. Then you make upgrades and new purchases. Those are the tours. A championship is a series of races. And you have to finish. Yes, there is damage to the car. And that needs to be repaired too. Otherwise, the car will drift to the left or handle poorly. The damage model is conveyed so well here.
It's nice to play with a gamepad. I played both WRC6 and Rush Rally 3. I also played a trashy but fun arcade game called Planes, Bullets, and Vodka. It's about that airplane from my childhood. For the Dendy console. Also with a gamepad. Simple and tasteful. The game has special effects. The screen shakes.
Then, at the beginning of the year, I played Left 4 Dead. And sometime in the fall, I tried Counter-Strike Source. Both games are from Valve. I'm very grateful for Steam, of course. So, I bought something and played it. I really liked it. I'm a fan of zombie games. It's a very atmospheric game. And stylish. It's like an action movie.
The setting. The camera. The action. As they say. The levels are like individual, long, intense episodes. There aren't many weapons, but they have their own unique behavior. And that still solves the issue of variety. Thanks to their unique behavior. You can be a sniper. Or an active shooter. Or something else.
Then Counter-Strike Source. Also just for running around with bots. But without the cinematics. But on different maps. Dumb shooters are generally great for relaxing. And this kind of game with bots—it's really nice to play in the evening. I was playing it this fall. Everyone's running somewhere. There's some kind of fuss going on. I even thought I'd found a game to play in the evenings. And not just on weekends.

I continue to make a results for two years with Asus F3S. This time, it is about racing. Hi class racing games. How much I really love funny racing little games! With a surprise!
Colin Mac Rae Rally 2
New theme. Rally racing. Before Wrc 6, I start Colin Mac Ray, right after, second Need for Speed, I have need for racing. Hunger for racing. After shooters from first person view. Dark Quake, I make theme exchange with rally theme. So, I can say - this is a turn!
So, I launch a second part. Good rally racing. Rally season starts with summer 2024. As my hunger for speed. My Need for Speed. New theme! New gaming season! So, it is a time change environment, update everything around! Let`s start a race!
Racing is like a racing. Really racing. Of course, maybe, it is not so arcade. But, well, I can say, it is arcade. But, with rally theme. But, well, it plays as cool as Need for Speed 2. And, this is rally. Winter and desert. So, for the first time, I can see it here! Road is different. Winter! Everything is in a snow. Or desert. Sand and hot! Wow! By this point, I am sure, rally is attractive for lots of people – with most different theme it can have. From winter up to summer! All the seasons!
And, it plays very good! I can point about a stylish menu. It is like a line. I like it! And all the menus are done with its own way. Maybe, this kind of menus can be with arcade games. And, select a race. Select car. And let`s go! Different views. Something like back view. Everything is here! Graphics is rather cool! Colin Mac Rae never disappoints you, as I can say! At least, this is about a videogame with such a title!
First rally racing for 2024. Summer positive! I can say, game is rather good gives dynamic of rally. So, you need to go correct in a turn. And, look - this is big wide turn. And, it seems like, everyone can do it – because of road is so wide. And, here it is more raw turn. After straight. And, you need to use brakes here. And, you have, already, get some speed. And, your car is goes forward with a wind speed. And you start to understand, that you need to make speed lower. Or, you get a crash, that’s for sure.
Of course, this is only a computer game. And, you just lost with some time. And, this game, opponents are rather experienced racers. And, they do not have crashes, as a rule. So, you lost your position. And this is little sad. So, learn the race. And keep in memory a places, where you need to lower speed!
But, this is a racing game. And speed. And drive. They are here!
Road Rash (Windows 85)
Unexpected surprise! I know this game. And, I played it, already, with my 486dx2 computer. And, it can be installed Windows 95 there. It works normal. And, it was a time, when I played it for the first time. And, already, those days, I liked this game a lot! And, with stylish menus. It is so artistic bright style! It is so cool! Well, it is like teenager attitude, maybe. Like spirit of Mtv decorations! And, that’s so exciting, to feel drive and relax!
And, I launched it again! It works with Windows Xp and Windows Vista. And, it is, of course, makes a positive vibes!
This is arcade motorcycle racing! And, by the way, you have a fight here. A little with knuckles. For examples. But, you can not to do this. Anyway, here it is everyone is little mad. Light madness is here. And half realistic. So, it is interesting combination at the road. We ride straight in the city! Heaps of tracks. And, you are with motorcycle! It is better to start with fast race. To get to learn, how to play it. And, already, after that, start to walkthrough the game by stages!
Hi class video sequences are here! By the way, graphics is in between points – realistic and funny. And, also, something like 256 colors or 16 bit colors palette. Its own style. From age of multimedia and Panasonic 3DO. Stylish graphics! Arcade is so classy, hi class, you know! Excellent funny moments! Menus are cool! They have music inside! With songs. So, drive songs. Overdrive. Popular rock about 90s, such positive rocker style rock, you know, or heavy sound with alternative music! Wow! You can listen this music in a special for this purpose - menu!
Menus, it is so highest point, they are made so exciting manner! Something like, you can have your time here too! Arts are cool, that’s for sure. And game racing itself is perfect. Arcade process. City. So, three dimensional. Straight in a city! Inside the city! Upcoming cars at your side. Two sides roads. Cars goes here and there. Pedestrians. And opponents! And, also, a police! Wow! Lots of things to do during the road. Main – keep sit place rather solid and good. Keep it!
And you are in a city, and this time - in a countryside! Everything is made cool! And, also, a video sequences! As a movie! These kind of action movies. Game has a style. Triple style! Menu and art, video FMV sequences, and third one - it is game process. This is a cool stylish arcade! New vision for Road Rash! For Windows 95, it is as idea. Well, you know, I am very exciting about this racing game!
So funny, when you fall down from a motorcycle, you can run by yourself. And, well, he is automatically runs to the motorcycle. Well, yes. Something like, you fall, you stand up. And ride next! Road and asphalt – they are this kind. Sometimes, it is raw!
Surprise 2024 summer!
To be continued!

2015 was an excellent year in gaming. We received a bunch of new video games, a ton of excellent AAA games, and even better hardware news for the future. There were a lot of things going on from last year, including the booming of the Playstation 4 (and to a lesser extent the Xbox One), the rise of several GOTY worthy games, and the continued progress in hardware exploration for the PC platform. All of this is not to mention the controversial news we have been hearing, including the Konami split with Hideo Kojima around Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain's release.
2015 in Review: Month of January
January was a quiet month, but I do remember playing Saints Row IV on the PS4 as a remastered version. This was after the release of several quality remastered editions, so it did feel like SR4's take on a do-over was lesser quality. However, I still did have a ton of fun and using the wacky weapons, powerups, and costumes in the game in a complete version of it was incredibly silly fun.
Dying Light was also one of those games that came out that I enjoyed. The clunky controls were a little annoying, especially since I was stuck at a certain point for around 10 minutes, just trying to jump to a rooftop to get to an objective that really should not have taken that long. The story was decent though and the game itself was enjoyable to say the least.
2015 in Review: Month of February
Sony Entertainment sold off its SOE department here, which was surprising news given the success of it so far and their work on upcoming game (which has yet to be released) H1Z1. It was an exciting game that was based off of DayZ, but it seemed it never came to fruition.
The Order: 1886 was also released for the Playstation 4, much to the distaste of many gamers. I personally did not play the game at launch after hearing about the short campaign, but months later when it only costed $15, I paid the price and was satisfied. Unfortunate for those that paid $60 for it though.
Evolve was another game, along with Dying Light, whose launch date was extended to February. It turns out that extra time to develop the game still went to waste, as Evolve was as boring as a game of chess. You run and run until you find a monster, you shoot the monster, the monster runs away, you run again until you find the monster, and either the monster or you and your squad wins. How innovative.
Lastly, City: Skylines was one of my favorite PC games that month. I played it almost exclusively just because of how addictive it was. Oh, and not to mention that a certain other simulation city-building game (ahem, Sim City) failed to become anything at all.
2015 in Review: Month of March
March began with a simple game called Five Nights at Freddy's. This one was one of the best horror games I played that year. It was just spooky in a way that other games failed to replicate.
Oh, and don't forget Battlefield: Hardline. That game had a lot of potential and it could have been -- wait, what am I saying. That is nonsense. It had no potential from the beginning and it kind of just failed to be anything it wanted to be. Hell, even the old Battlefield (Battlefield 4, for the uninformed) has more people actively playing it right now than Battlefield: Hardline.
Bloodborne, the best game of March and one of the main nominees for Game of 2015, came out in March as well. It was a Playstation 4 exclusive and it got so many high scores from critics, including myself. I would have put this as game of the year, but some things happened over the next few months that changed the course for me.
