“Ian, no!”
Doctor Who and the Daleks - Aaru - 1965
The first of many doctor who romances
Very saddened to hear of the death of Philip Bond (Doctor Who-The Daleks guest star, actor, comedian and writer) death at age 82. Here are my photos of him and @sean-carlsen at Regenerations in 2016. He played Ganatus in the Daleks.
Ganatus really spent each of his few episodes relaly looking out for Barbara. There's a lot of of "BARBARA" and little moments where's looking out for her & doing best for her. t's really kinda cute and sweet.
All the Thals are kinda babes, but Ganatus in particular. Barbara was right for having a little crush on him.
That time on Skaro when Barbara cracked a smile for the first time* since leaving Earth in 1963.
*I don’t actually care whether or not this is literally the first time Barbara cracked a smile since leaving Earth in 1963, I just mean it’s rare.
You threaten to sell a woman to the Daleks as a science experiment snooze, you lose, Chesterton.
