New Gang!

I said I was going to introduce them, so I will, but it comes with a caveat: I’ve been away this weekend at an event which has been part of my life for a decade, and I’m now too old to go. This event has literally saved my life, and right now I feel like I’m grieving for it. So I’ll give you these guys names and ages - I’d love if you asked questions about them! I’ll do my best to answer them tomorrow. 

Gang Five is: 

Bracken Tiree Keddie, 17 years old. (Biological brother of Aiden) Ceara Uist Keddie, 17 years old Thane-Quentin “Q” Ruadh Allaway, 18 years old Rowan Mared, 17 years old Gale Tristan Murdoch, 18 years old Noah Dominic Kerr, 23 years old

So, there they are! Please, please please ask questions - anything you’d like to know!

Are any of your new OCs musical?? Sporty? Arty? Into drama? Into cooking? What do they like to do on their birthdays and at Christmas? Does the group have any important in jokes? Who's most likely to spam a gc with memes?

So, Q is musical - he plays the piano, though he doesn't often get the chance to anymore because he doesn't have one at uni... He does have a ukulele though which he sometimes takes out if they have a campfire so they can all sing along. Rowan's got a really beautiful singing voice, but she's never really done anything seriously musically. Bracken can sing, but he’s shy about it! Gale loves rock-climbing and abseiling, so I guess that's a kind of sportiness. Noah loves hiking too, though that's more because he likes being alone or in small groups cause lots of people overwhelms him. Rowan loves horse riding, and she used to compete as an equestrian. She'd love to start competing again, but she's yet to get the nerve.

Bracken is probably the most artistic, though not conventionally.. He likes to make art with outside materials, knowing that they probably won't stay the way he made them, that's part of what he likes. Gale is awesome at sketching, but he's never really taken it seriously as a talent. Both Bracken, Ceara and Q are good cooks (I mean above the average of first year uni students!), Ceara likes using unusual ingredients and foraging for food. For birthdays, while they're away at uni, they tend to go out into the woods - Q and Gale love building bivouacs, and they have campfires and just are outside (cause they all love that!) Christmas they're a bit boring cause they mostly go home to see family. Bracken and Ceara's family has never celebrated Christmas really, they put more importance on winter solstice. In jokes wise, there's quite a lot of "hippie-esque" comments that they all get on board with, especially after most of them met the rest of Bracken and Ceara's family.And Q is absolutely, unequivocally the one who'd spam all the memes in a group chat.

What are the relations of Gang five among each other?

You asked, and so did someone else - they asked “Oooh yayyy! What type of relationship do they have with each other, are any of them dating?” - Thank you both! 

So, they all live in a student house together, which is how they’ve all really gotten to know one another, and they’re really fortunate that they’ve all got on. There’s a few over and above relationships apart from them all just being friends, and they are:

Bracken and Ceara - they are adopted siblings, they come from a big family, into which they are all adopted, but these two have grown up as close siblings (almost twins). Taking this further, Bracken is desperately in love with Ceara, he has been for a while, but he’s terrified that it’s wrong because she’s his “sister” 

Gale and Q - They’re a couple, though a relatively new one, but they’re getting to know one another. 

Ceara and Noah and Rowan - these three are v close friends, they’ve bonded well together and spend quite a bit of their free time with one another. 

Bracken and Gale - Also v close, especially as they’re on the same course.

So I love your new characters already... what are they all like when they’re sick? Rank them from best to worst immune system? And, last question I promise, have any of them passed out before? Why? (Thanks hun I love your ocs and you 🧡 I hope you’re doing well)

Have any of them passed out before? Why?So Bracken has passed out - he used to quite lot (he had childhood epilepsy, which he appears to have grown out of), but he does push himself hard and sometimes the exhaustion manifests itself in him fainting. 

Q has passed out like twice in his life - both times when he’s been really ill and not looked after himself enough. Both times he totally freaked out because it scared him.

Oops I saw that you pretty much just answered the question I just asked hehe. ^^' So here's a different one -- if you had to use one word to describe each of those characters, what would they be?

This lot seems a bit younger than your other gangs, except noah from what it looks like! Any specific reason/whats his connection/relationship like towards the others!

They’re all a bit younger, because I wanted to have them authentically being the age that people start university in Scotland. 

Noah is a bit older because he didn’t go to traditional school, so it took him a bit longer to actually make it to university. Noah can be a bit straight laced sometimes, but he is very loyal to his friends.

For the new gang: are they in school or working? What subject/field are they focusing on?

So, gang five are all at university (and they all live together!) I’ll go through what they’re studying: 

Bracken - Teaching, specialising in outdoor learningCeara - Teaching, specialising in outdoor learningQ - Gamekeeping with wildlife managementRowan - Equine studies and Forest ManagementGale - Teaching, specialising in outdoor learningNoah - Veterinary medicine, specialising in Farming and Agriculture

They’re all very outdoorsy people, and all of them are in first year at uni, apart from Noah (who’s in second year!)
