just gonna say that I’ve never played a Zelda game in my life and don’t know any lore whatsoever, anyway here’s some headcanons for a meme character that committed too much to the bit!! :3

So the way I see Gannondaddy is sorta like, he’s the king of demons or whatever and people talk about how terrifying he is and stuff and then you actually meet him and he’s just. some guy. like if you need help on a history assignment or something like that, he’s the person you gotta talk to. (also, if Chiptopia does end up happening and he ends up as the Dark Lord, I’m not gonna say much cuz of spoilers but I think that’ll fuel this idea for me even more. leave that lil guy alone)

Even though his name has the word “daddy” in it, he has no biological children of his own, nor any romantic partners. This doesn’t mean he isn’t willing to adopt anyone though. Again, I feel like he has the ability to have a fatherly relationship with literally anyone he meets lol. plus he has a dad bod. I still love how that’s canon.
