Now I really want to see Time and Ganon having #SuburbanDadBeef. Like something as mundane as Ganon grilling some burgers and hotdogs, then time backseat grilling/trolling him.

BUT YES !! -

Time and Ganon have this really odd relationship in the au were they used to be team mates and have this mutual respect for one another. But then end up hating each other’s because of the absolute disaster their final mission was and just end up avoiding each other like the plague afterwards.

I just have this scene in my head where Time gets called into the headteachers office because Sky is being bullied by this little Jack ass ( affectionate ) Groose.

He goes in and is like “ what kinda kid does this shit -“

Then Gan walks in , and it alllll makes sense.

But then Groose and Sky become friends and now Time and Ganon are forced to tolerate each other’s presence.

Until finally they just get back to their orginal batter again

Sorry it took me so long to answer this! It’s been a week.😅 I love Eternal Empire, it’s my writing baby (one of them lol)!

Hmm, just one thing … I’ve really enjoyed playing around with Gerudo culture and its effect on someone growing up, especially for Ganondorf and Lin. I mean, it’s a society completely made up of women (except Ganondorf, of course) in an incredibly hostile desert. There are going to be some major cultural differences in every part of life. I imagine growing up in a tribe of fierce female warriors had a big impact on Ganondorf, and I try to reflect that in EE—he’s a great fighter, he’s willing to make tough choices to save the people he loves, but he’s also very nurturing and in tune with his emotions. And without the Triforce of Power/Demise’s Curse muddling up his thoughts and intentions, those softer traits become more evident and safer for him to express. 

TL;DR: Eternal Empire Ganondorf is a very good Girl Dad ™️. And his two daughters 1000% have him wrapped around their little fingers.

Bonus that I haven’t talked much about: both Fi AND Ghirahim will be in EE! And they have a love-hate enemies to siblings dynamic that I adore. Ghirahim is confused and having existential crises 90% of the time.🤣

Alright Zelda fandom. I see your loving Ganondads. I see your growing up gerudo dads and tales of two rulers dads. They’re all great Ganondads!

BUT

I would like to raise you. Reluctant Ganondad!

Picture this! Link and Zelda are very young (like wind waker age) and they both have unfortunate home lives. Link has no family and was essentially raised in the castle training day in and day out. Zelda only has her dad who is just like Roahm in botw but worse. They both absolutely hate that they have to do all this (at such young ages too). Well the time comes for them to fight ganondorf. He’s expecting full grown adults, not literal toddlers.

He absolutely refuses to beat up children, but they aren’t leaving. They obviously need actual tlc and a goddamn nap.

He takes them in and takes care of them. They keep trying to fight him and he just shuts down every attempt (like calming a bratty toddler down from a tantrum). And eventually he just flat out refuses to allow them to go back to their awful homes and there’s peace in hyrule forever the end!
