I love it when bands release complete records in their native tongues. It’s especially cool if the language fits the music. Samling (released on Gaphal) use a lot of reverb and the Swedish language lends itself well to reverb.
Samling sounds like a great combination of great Swedish bands - Suburban Kids With Biblical Names, Dungen, Moon Types (Jigsaw Records), or Jens Lekman.
While this isn’t as shimmery as some of the bands mentioned above, there is still great Swedish pop. This just might be more suited for winter than summer (although “Varulv” is pretty sunny).
