We were photographing flowers when this Garden Sunbird (Cinnyris jugularis) flew into view.
The camera was on center-weighted metering mode. So even a 2/3-stop underexposure was still able to keep the bird sufficiently lit here.

Garden Sunbird
A non-food post for a change. This male Garden Sunbird 🐦 (Cinnyris jugularis) has been coming to visit the Shooting Star Hoya (Hoya multiflora) that is growing next to the window in my bedroom. Every time it landed on one of the opened glass window, it will chirp loudly. I am amazed at just how much noise can come out from such a small little bird!
