#gardening!

so my bell pepper plant has it's first baby pepper, exciting, and somehow, the apple tree on my deck that at least three sources told me it had to have a companion tree to fertilize it if you want apples has two apples on it so far, perplexing, one of my minipumpkin plants has gotten way bigger than all the others and it's flowering, cool, plus i have flowers on my cucumber vine, mouthwatering. So there's a lot of movement in my gardening sphere, but i still can't eat any of it. I'm also spraying my apple tree with soapy water every morning and then rinsing it off again 2 hours later because it's infested with aphids.

yknow what wouldve made bella cooking all the meals actually cool? she did it cause she has an actual interest in cooking. like, charlie can cook why are we lied to. it might not be famcy but hes lived alone long enough to learn. then bella comes in and is like "ok so, i have these recipes i wanna try but i couldnt for reasons in arizona so can i try them?" and charlie being a good dad lets her try shit out, but still offers to help, and does cook some nights.

also giving bella more interests would be cool. like books are cool, but other than that its just all about vampires and edward. qny 'hobby' was thrusted on her or she stopped doing ages ago. and, on a darkish note, wouldve made the depression in new moon much more drastic. like, ik we see her inner monologue, but what did she honestly do differently after the cullens left, besides not hang out with them? gimme her not wanting to do things that gave her joy outside of the cullens!

I was pulling weeds in the garden and plucked out a huge clump of hair. The Flesh? The Buried?

Possibly my husband's hair, from when we buzzed his quarantine 'do. I dimly remember sweeping the mess into a scrap bucket. Either that bucket got dumped into the garden or we have bigger problems.

Bang, boom, gardening!

I’ve got bee balm, basil, thyme, and rosemary on the on the front porch…

And tiny violets I’m growing from seeds, three (3!) avocado trees grown from randomly tossed out pits (I named the big one Alejandro, my mom named the little ones Guaca and Mole), and my Earth Day tree on the back porch.

I set up my garden today! It still needs some work but I'm so happy about it! Planning to plant something in the cinderblocks as well - Herbs? Flowers?
