I'm a twilight canon denier. Stephanie really gave us Emmett Cullen and expected me to believe that he wouldn't be Bff's with the wolf pack ? Get out of my face

cooking class
gn!reader x jasper hale (domestic fluff)
words: 1127
summary: Jasper attempts to make a romantic dinner for his human partner, but as someone who hasn’t eaten in over 100 years, he doesn’t do a very good job. When the reader gets home and discovers the mess Jasper made, they decide to start over and cook dinner together. Or, in other words, Jasper gets a romantic, at-home cooking class brought to him by his loving partner.
a/n: Just a little something I found in the drafts. Working on quite a few fics rn, so hopefully this holds y’all over.
My friends and I during our annual twilight rewatch were discussing how Carlisle would insist on some normalcy which included instituting "pajama time" instead of bedtime. So here's our headcannons on who wears what.
Edward: flannel pants, white tshirt. Plain and boring like him.
Bella: the grungiest, nasty, ratty clothes she can find. She also starfishes and Edward winds up laying on the bench at the end of the bed curled up like a cat.
Emmett: boxers or basketball shorts
Rosalie: whatever lingerie she can find. When she's mad at Emmett she gets pj's with bears on them and Emmett goes to Alice like a child asking to sleep with her and Jasper.
Jasper: Nightgown and night cap like Ebenezer Scrooge. Complete with a candle stick. He walks around local neighborhoods late at night haunting the locals.
Alice: Girl walks around in Sabrina Carpenter like teddys.
Carlisle: Classic, button up pajama set. Designer ofc.
Esmee: also the hottest lingerie she can find but she wears a normal mom nightgown over it unless she's actively in bed.
It’s the ✨aesthetic✨
Hot take
In some ways Aro can be perceived as just as much of a “good person” as Carlisle is.
Think about it.
For instance in turning people. Carlisle has turned people who were dying and suffering to save them, and so has Aro.
But Carlisle didn’t put his own life at risk to save them. When Aro rescued Alec and Jane from being burned alive, he threw himself into the fire. There’s no way he wouldn’t have caught on fire himself, be it his clothes or his body, by doing that. Vampires are flammable af. Given that vampires have battle scars, I’d say it’s highly likely Aro has burn scars from doing that. He risked paying the ultimate price doing something he didn’t even know would work. The twins could’ve still died.
And don’t get me started on the benefit the Volturi have had on the world since taking power. Human health, safety, population growth… vampires as well in not having to constantly avoid war and displeasing the rulers of the land… I think I have a whole post on this buried deep on my blog. But yeah. Aro is a good man, despite what he portrays himself as and probably thinks himself to be, because even though his motivations are selfish, the outcome of his actions has been positive.
So, overall, there have been good outcomes to the evil he’s been doing.
Me at myself whenever I rewatch the twilight saga:
