Rewatched Havoc (2025) and still don't get how it's considered a disappointment.

People hated the CGI, but I love that it's set in one of those nameless, hyper-stylized urban hellscapes we used to get in grimy 90s movies like Se7en and The Crow. People hated the talky first act, but I love hearing legendary marble mouths like Tom Hardy, Forest Whitaker, and Luis Guzmán menace each other unintelligibly. People bemoaned the lack of action, but when this thing goes off it goes off like a goddamn nail bomb. The final shootout, inside an Evil Dead-style non-Euclidean cabin, is one for the ages.

And today, a year ago, we finally got to meet Detective Walker, played by our spectacular Tom, in Havoc 😍💓!

After filming wrapped in 2021, there were days of reshoots and changes, it took a lot of patience although I sometimes got desperate because it wasn't normal for it to take four years to finish 😅 I still think it should have lasted a little longer, given how long it took to complete 😩

I wonder what went through Tom's mind with all the delays the film suffered... 🤔

Anyway! The film can be found on Netflix 👌🏻

¡Y hoy, hace un año, pudimos conocer, por fin después de años de retraso, al Detective Walker, interpretado por nuestro espectacular Tom, en Estragos 😍💓!

Después de terminar de rodar en 2021, hubo días de regrabaciones, cambios, había que tener mucha paciencia aunque yo a veces me desesperaba porque no era normal que estuviera tardando 4 años en ser terminada 😅 Sigo pensando que tendría que haber durado un pelín más para el tiempo que tardó en terminarse 😩

Me pregunto qué le habría pasado a Tom por la cabeza con todo el retraso que la película tuvo... 🤔
