Reguarding the Hasbro "Gargantos" figure
NEW: Doctor Strange against Gargantos.
This figure holds a lot of meaning to me. It was around the sixth figure I made, and one I put a lot of effort, with a wood base (a first!) and buying a lot of clay.
Shuma Gorath from Marvel Comics, inspired by his Marvel Vs Capcom 3 design.
I never played as him unfortunately, I couldnt afford the DLC. Maybe one day.
Abrams Books' Mighty Marvel Team-Up Series Kicks Off with "Iron Man: Something Strange!"
The first title in Abrams Books' new Mighty Marvel Team-Up series of original graphic novels is Iron Man: Something Strange! from writer Dean Hale and artist Douglas Holgate.
The communications system has gone down at Avengers Tower. Tony Stark's hope for an easy solution is thwarted when he learns that the "root of the problem is the arrival of the otherworldly creature Gargantos and it’s missing children that are loose across New York City, Iron Man quickly finds that he’s out of his depth. Luckily for him, mystical expert Doctor Strange arrives to team up with Iron Man and save the day!" Strange and Stark have one hour to find Gargantos's missing toddlers before Gargantos returns to take out the city.

Dr. Strange vs. Shuma-Gor-- No, I'm sorry, the lawyers tell me I have to say "Gargantos".
God, I love Stephen's entrance. His twirling cape flourish as he leaps from the balcony. Yeah, you know exactly what you're doing, you egotistical ponce.
This fight feels like a huge step up from the fights in the first Dr. Strange film. The first movie depicted its sorcerous battles as largely built around martial combat with Green Lantern construct weapons, most commonly shields and lashes.
Here, we see that Multiverse of Madness hasn't entirely done away with that. But it's only a small part of how Wong and Stephen fight, with much more creative and imaginative spellcraft also making its way into their styles - Particularly Stephen's, who seems much more comfortable casting sweeping esoteric effects than the more martially-focused Wong.
Wong fights like a battle-mage, while Stephen fights like a wizard. This new divergence of style fits both of their characters well, as Wong's a highly-trained and decorated warrior of Kamar-Taj and Stephen's... Well, a surgeon. There's care and precision in how Stephen extracts America from the bus using a localized Mirror Dimension spell, and in how he ultimately defeats Gargantos by targeting its eye as a weak point.
