yoooo so I tried roasting some garlic and making a garlic spread and it turned out great, especially on a grilled cheese with mozzarella to roast the garlic, all you need to do is cut off the top of the head of garlic, pour olive on it, make sure to get it in all those crevices, wrap it in tinfoil (don't wrap it around tightly, give it some extra room to steam), and toss it in the oven on 400 degrees for about 40 or more minutes (depending on how big the garlic head is) until you open it and it's a slightly light golden color and soft. for the spread you'll need: 1 cup of grated cheddar cheese 2 teaspoons of minced roasted garlic a pinch of pepper 1 cup of margarine or whipped butter 1 1/2 teaspoons of granulated garlic salt to taste put the butter in the microwave for about 40 seconds, and immediately put the cheddar and garlic in and stir until it's (for the most part) blended together. add the season and woop there it is use it on garlic bread, pasta, whatever you want!
