Greg Weismann just confirmed that both Wyynde & Daanuth in Young Justice are descendants of the actual Arion characters & not just adapted versions of them.

That makes way more sense than making them purist in adapted material.

It’s very much a crime that Atlantean men don’t dress a little slutty anymore, like this:

One of my favorite, likely unintended, facts about DC AQUAMAN lore is that all the characters you see in these images are all related to each other. Some of it ranges from close to distant.

What started out as a interracial couple between Calculha & Majistra, the first two man and woman depicted, spaced out their whole family tree to include human & atlantean families of European, Egyptian, Italian, Xebellian, Asian, Skatarian, Idyllist descent. Being that Atlantis acted as a precursor to many ethnic people, it makes sense the royal family that started it all….were diverse to begin with. What’s crazy is that this isn’t everyone.
