Inktober - day 29

SNKtober day 29 - “childhood”. Finishing the bestial challenge with one fluff which is not my usual theme. But I kinda needed to see Heike, Wenzell and their baby Lili back at the day when everything was nice and peaceful.

Ottoman Empire AU Version 1

This will be Attack on Titan characters. 

Not all characters will be listed.

So, this has been on my mind recently and I just wanted to share it one here since I will probably not be doing anything with it. 

Keep in mind this is a loose version of what the Ottoman Empire used to be so I will be creative liberties and play around with it; however, I will try to be accurate with the titles each individual would have been called during the time. The full or short titles will be shown below and in parenthesis the translation of what it means. Also, correct me if I am wrong on any of them. 

I understand that religion played a key role during the Ottoman Empire, but because I do not practice the same religion it will not be really present in the idea just because I don’t want to use the incorrect information nor get any detail wrong. If any of you have knowledge of the religion please post it in the comments.

P.S. This is following the one child per concubine rule and how Janissaries took children and trained them to be faithful to the Sultan. Another key point, girls were brought to the Harem of the Sultan at a young age, a little before puberty started and never from aristocratic families. I am also taking into account that a sister to a sultan can act as Queen Mother to her brother (I am not sure if this counts to younger or older sister though).

Description:

Born into the most powerful family, Şehzade Sultan Eren finds himself in a war for the throne of his father. While the Cemaat has stayed neutral up to this point, they are put to the test as the declining health of the Sultan is nearing his death. However, it isn’t just the Janissaries infighting, but the Palace is in disarray as the two Princes' mothers fight for their children to be placed on the throne no matter the consequences.

Shallura Holiday Oneshots 4!

Day 4: Garisson/ Altea

This oneshot takes place before Shiro even applied for the Kerberos mission: Shiro is at the Garrisson and Allura is on Altea. Please keep in mind that I have zero knowledge of a solidier's lifestyle so some info might not be accurate.

Shiro looked out of the library window. One of the many perks of his new rank was that as long as he performed to standards, he could skip the light out call. At this hour, the only lights that were still on were the desk lights and the ones leading towards the exit. That night, the sky was clear. If it wasn't for the light pollution in the military base...

And as if God heard his silent prayer, there was a power shortage throughout the entire base.

Shiro could never get tired at the scene before him.

Ever since his father took him camping and he saw what the night sky truly looked like, he had be fascinated, obsessed even, over the different stars that dotted the night sky. His friends had called him a psycho until his high school projects gathered the attention of the greatest space program he knew: the Garrison.

His studies of the night sky and military training taking up most of his time, he didn't have much interest in pursuing a romantic relationship. Sometimes he wondered if he was okay. Shiro never used his title to get benefits or to seduce anyone. He knew what he wanted. Whenever he looked at the stars, Shiro told himself that the person he would share his life with would give him the same feeling he had when he first saw the twilight in its purest form.

Princess Allura looked out of her bedroom window. One of the many perks of living in the castle was that she had unlimited access to the database of information Alteans had collected over the millennials of space exploration. That night, she was reading over diplomatic paperwork to prepare for her trip next week.

The trip where she would officially meet her fiancé.

Realizing she had read over the same paragraph three times, she decided to give herself a break. She got up and opened the french doors that led to her balcony, taking in a deep breath as she rested her hands on the railing.

Allura could never get tired at the scene before her.

She was born on a night like this one: a warm breeze, clear skies and the millions of stars welcoming her into the world. She had quickly learned the priviledges and responsibilities that came with the title of princess and grew up to become a young woman Alteans would be proud to call their queen. And yet, nights like these made her wonder what her life could have been like if she wasn't bestowed the crown from birth, if she could have pursued a career of her choosing, if she could have fallen in love with someone who believed that all the stars in the universe were right in her eyes.

Woodhorn Invasion-July

Another event i seemed to have neglected a review for. This one was pretty local for me so not much travelling was involved. An hour/maybe two up the road can change how tired you can be for these events!

The morning started off with a group meeting of the costumer's who were going to be onsite, this being the Garrisson, The north charity daleks and the UKCM: Hadrian's wall regiment before heading to the changing room to get changed. This was one of the first drops for one of my best mates Tiago, who was dressed as a weyland Yutani scientist to help "spot" for me while i was in the xeno.

The venue was amazing, plenty of grassy area's and good places for public encounters. The weather on this day was perfect too! The exhibition was intresting, plenty of ALIENS related goodies in there ;)  

I was part of the "bug hunt" staged at 1.30 that afternoon in which Abi the alien got loose from her handler, Tiago, and was on the riot in the venue. The marines then had to take a group of kids, i say group...it was a HORDE! to find the loose bug. Myself and Tiago had hidden behind one of the main buildings until the marines (Scapegoat, Boltrig) had the last clue from the Doctor (Claymore) and headed our way,

......in which Tiago then THREW herself from behind the building (the kids screams were...well its hard to describe something that awesome!) and abi followed suit, mauling her into the floor! (owch!) By the end of it the Doctor had subdued Abi with the use of his sonic screw driver and the marines had her back in chains. (poor abi!) to end the whole thing we took the kids back to the UKCM table and gave them certificates for taking part. Great bug hunt all around!

The rest of the day consisted of walking around taking pictures, and Abi managed to get herself on a train ride!! which was amusing!

Before we all packed down and left for the journey home :P The organizer's did a great job for this and hopefully we'll be involved for next year!
