RedPauwns (Deltaswap) Sprite Concepts

Not final designs necessarily, but proof of concept. I'll probably draw the final designs instead of spriting them.

RedPauwns is an anagram of Underswap, similar to Deltarune/Undertale and Defernull/Underfell. It's also a reference to Ralsei's plan, since all Lightners and Darkners are "pawns" in it.

Ralsei (the Prince of Darkness) wants to cover the world in darkness via dark fountains, as he wants to A. be able to walk around freely, and B. be in control of everything.

(For the sake of making more swaps options for the story, Darkners don't petrify outside of their dark worlds.)

Noelle, Berdly, and the Knight are the three heroes of the prophecy.

Noelle and Berdly have adjacent history to canon, but not the same; Noelle failed their last group project due to being distracted by Dess going missing. Berdly doesn't trust her to "be smart anymore" and insists on doing their current group project all on his own. (He later apologizes for being mean, of course.)

Dess is the Knight; part of the reason she doesn't talk is she's hiding her identity from Noelle.

Asriel still went to college and Dess still vanished, however these events coincided; the Holidays suspect Dess ran off to join Asriel at college without telling them, and Noelle is still mad about it.

Kris created Castle Town's dark fountain when Asriel left for college (they stabbed the floor while having a meltdown in the closet lol). Ralsei is essentially a "substitute Asriel" in their eyes, which Ralsei uses to manipulate them into helping him. ("If we make more dark fountains, I can be there for you more often... It's a shame to be stuck in this closet, isn't it?")

Dess found out about the dark fountain opening and has been trying to defeat Ralsei and figure out how to seal it ever since; this is why she's been missing. (No clue why she'd know about how they work though... Maybe she learned from Gerson's stories?)

Ralsei can heal himself and use pacify, which makes him very difficult and dangerous to fight. The only ways to defeat him are A. tiring him out and using Noelle's sleep mist on him, or B. brute forcing your way into draining his HP by attacking until he runs out of magic.

Kris still has the soul (not Noelle), and thus is the only one who can seal fountains. This really sucks for Noelle and Berdly, since while they can rescue Lightners from the fountains, they can't seal any.

Kris still wears the horns because they want to be more like their family. Their dark world form reflects their connection to Ralsei, but also their unresolved insecurity about being human (thus the white hair and "real" horns).

Susie's plot relevance is about equal to Berdly from the original, i.e. very little lmao. She just gets to be a goofy goober in this AU

I imagine there to be two routes, the good route and the violent route. In the good route, you spare all your enemies, including Ralsei (via sleep mist). When Noelle begs Kris to join her team, Kris reluctantly agrees, leaving Ralsei asleep on the battlefield. In the violent route, you attack/kill all enemies. Kris does not yield to Noelle, instead giving Ralsei a revive mint and retreating with him. Kris then has to be captured by the team to get their soul for sealing the fountains.

I am on a meme quest, please help

There's this video of an older guy playing a guitar or some kind of stringed instrument and he's chanting/rapping about Byakuya Togami except it's not actual sentences, the main lines I remember are "Byakuya. Byakuya. To. To. To-ga-mi." and "Suit. Suit. Suit and tie."

Also he said his name like "bye-akuya"

I know this video exists, but I cannot find it and I am sad, please help I want the link
