I think my mom is a little embarrassed that I have to wear adult diapers. Like, my doctors agree that it's the best for me because it helps reduce the amount of rashes I get and protects my clothes. Like she's supportive but like I wish she'd listen to the doctors that, right now, this is the best thing for me and wearing regular underwear would cause me more pain and ruin my clothes and ruin my sheets and cause more IC flare-ups. It took me a long time to accept that I need them and I understand it's gonna take a while for her too but there is no perfect answer right now or at least not until we figure out why I'm still having leakage.

I have to drink a weird liqued mix with paracetamol in tomorrow, so the doctors Can steal my blood for 4 hours to see how my stomach empties.

I am not looking forward to it. Mostly Cause my viens like to play tag when getting blood drawn,, and Cause They tend to run dry pretty fast.

I hope They find out why I’m so naouses, bloated and burping bits of food up hours later, after eating tho:,))

The trouble I am facing these days is with GASTROPARESIS

{which makes your stomach digest food at a slower rate.}

It complicates the bolus timing even more than a pizza would which is extremely frustrating.

A lot of lows are involved with blousing too soon for food I am eating with spikes to follow for correcting for those lows.

Everything is a learning curve and I am beginning to have a better handle on the new blousing process now

Any advice for me, questions or just other diabetics with gastroparesis who want to reach out are welcome [and needed]

Fuck my joints feeling achy and unstable.

Fuck my stomach wanting to make me nauseous all the time and have constant trips to the bathroom for “potty #2” anytime I eat. Or don’t eat.

Fuck the neuropathy-like pain in my feet.

Fuck my random comes and goes hip pain that makes me sob and stop because it’s paralysing pain when this specific thing happens.

Fuck the constant runs of tachycardia and feeling like I can’t quite catch my breath.

Fuck brain fog that makes me forget names, places, and things that I known normally but can’t recall now.

Fuck all of you and you and you. Just kindly fuck off.

Nobody ever talks about how gastroparesis fucks up your relationship with food even when you arent having symptoms. Like my brain has so strongly connected the existence of food with the feeling of nausea that i have a really hard time eating even when i feel fine.
