So, someone tell me what to do here, I'm at a loss. I could use y'all's thoughts, ideas, opinions, etc.
There is a person here on Tumblr, @gateway-2000 (idk why tumblr won't tag them here. See their post in screenshot #1 below), who has been pretty consistently posting about/reblogging a post they wrote where they are requesting mutual/financial aid to pay their bills that are about $135. They are still reblogging that exact post (last reblog was about 2 hours ago, see screenshot #3 below) & they have been showing that they have received zero donations, as their post states "$0/$135" or however much the exact amount was (see screenshot #2 below).
The thing is, on March 30th, 2025 I sent $135 to their Venmo at Equinoxian Art (see screenshot #4 below). I follow them & keep seeing them reblog their original post with their donations counter still sitting at "$0/$135."
I reblogged that post by them a few days after I sent them money, saying that I sent them a donation and asked them if they received it. And then yesterday around 1AM I sent them a direct message (DM) on here explaining that I sent them money on Venmo, sent them a screenshot of my Venmo transaction with their username, the amount I sent, the date and time, and the transaction ID (see screenshot #4 below) and told them I just wanted to be sure that they got it. Tumblr says they've been active for the last 3 hours and I just saw them reblog their mutual aid request where, yet again, they are showing they have received $0.00 in donations.
So like..... what do I do? I'm thinking I'm just going to cancel the transaction on Venmo because, like...I need the money if it's not going to be going to a good cause. I'm feeling very uncomfortable about this, I don't want to deny someone the almost certainly desperately needed funds to pay their bills, but I am also uncomfortable seeing that my money has gone just out into the ether, like did I send it to the wrong person???? Is @gateway-2000 a scammer?? Where did my money go?!
Any ideas? What would you do???

An unexpected purchaser (again) gained control of the Amiga’s technology, and this issue reported in detail on Gateway 2000′s potential plans. QuickPak’s regular ad at the front of the magazine expressed disappointment “that our own bid was unsuccessful,” but was willing to be hopeful about what had happened. A smaller ad further into the magazine welcomed “our new bovine overlords.”
