The first time I saw them I couldn't help but think that hornet's cloak looked like a poncho and that my lace gijinka was definitely going to be drawn wearing a bombacha de gaucho. (In fact, I was going to draw my hornet's gijinka design wearing a poncho as her cloak lol)

I was bored, I'm on vacation, I have nothing better to do, so I started drawing these lesbians wearing traditional clothing from my country and dancing a chacarera, because why not? Hehe

I'd also like to draw them wearing dama antigua clothes, but I'm terrible at drawing dresses, so I don't think I'll draw them wearing those. That's why they're wearing gaucho clothes. And come on, they look cool af like that

Yiddishe Gauchos, Argentina, early 20th century

At the end of the nineteenth century, thousands of East European Jews fled to Argentina from persecution and pogroms. These Jews became ranchers and farmers in the pampa, and were called Yiddishe (Jewish) Gauchos. The Yiddishe Gauchos, like their native counterparts, dressed in black hats and wide belts. They adapted the local customs, built communities and gave the pampa its own uniquely Jewish character.
