The Dragon Rider
Lucienne and Dragon!Gault by @designtheendless , for my fic: (546 words, teen)
Lucienne walked over to Gault, reaching up to stroke behind her ear and caress down her neck, the way she knew she liked in whatever form she took.

Because this other fic won their contest 😭😂💜! Thank you so much! It’s gorgeous!!!
It's been a while lol
The gif turned out kinda crunchy (and it's old, I got better in the mean time), but I love them and they look so chill here
I wanted to make a gif from my animation for a while know.
Still stuggling with exams, but almost over!! Only 2 left, yay
Kick's 2024 Roundup
I was getting a little down today because I didn't write nearly as much as I wanted to this year, but hey! That doesn't mean I shouldn't celebrate what I was able to write. Right?
Starting with Hannibal Fics...
I know we tend to (understandably so) focus on the “you look gorgeous, Gault” moment when we look for a basis for a deeper relationship between Lucienne and Gault, but actually the scene that sticks out to me the most in that regard is when Dream banishes Gault.
We see how defensive Lucienne can get about Dream when she and Corinthian encounter each other at the end of "Imperfect Hosts," but there's absolutely no hint of any similar animosity when Lucienne addresses Gault in this scene
and as Lucienne watches Gault and Dream argue with each other, I'd say she looks...quietly distressed, like it pains her to watch these two particular people go head to head.
It would also make this scene more upsetting for Gault herself, since Lucienne--a former friend or lover--seemed to be siding with Dream instead of her, and of course Gault wasn't present to see Lucienne later stick up for her.
Then there's the way Lucienne disagrees with Dream's decision to banish Gault and directly tells him so. That can definitely be chalked up to just Lucienne's innate moral compass, but it would add an extra dimension to that conversation if Lucienne and Gault actually were close at one point.

Gault the Shapeshifter/Lucienne the Librarian
36 or 37 for the smut prompts for Lucienne/Gault? 👀👀👀
37. A is usually reserved when it comes to intimacy and emotions. When in public, B does something that breaks A. A pulls B close and whispers to them: "I need you. Now." || AO3 Link Here
This is 100000000000% one of my favorite dynamics absolutely feral for this aposdkapodkaso. It's not a birthday celebration without femslash, and this is nothing but pure, horny filth, with Lucienne losing control of all of her senses because of Gault. Enjoy ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
-----------------------------------------------
Of all the places one would have expected to lose their grip on proper behavior in public, Lucienne had put summer carnival at the very bottom of her list. Hell, she didn’t even have a list, because years of handling Morpheus’s public affairs had ensured that she almost always had to be the put together one out of the two of them. Even today, on her day off for a date with Gault, Lucienne was always carefully aware of her surroundings, of the people who looked a little too long at the two of them, of all the potential places for photographers and tabloid journalists could hide, despite the lack of her famous employer's presence.
All of Lucienne’s carefully crafted masks go right out the window when Gault slams the hammer into the strongman machine, careening the puck so hard into the top of the tower that the ground shakes with how loud the bell rings.
There’s a moment of stunned silence, the only noise in the air being the echoing reverb from the machine. Then, almost all at once, a giant round of applause and cheering breaks out around them. The strongman attendant is stuttering half in awe, half in fear, as he leads Gault to the array of comically large stuffed animals for her prize. Gault grins mischievously at Lucienne every few moments, and were she thinking more clearly, Lucienne would be more wary of that look, because it surely meant Gault would pick the most obnoxious prize possible and find a way to place it on Lucienne’s desk come Monday morning.
As it was, however, Lucienne only had one goal in mind, and it was to get them both out of the public eye immediately.
Gault was Morpheus’s bodyguard. She was strong, and incredibly capable, Lucienne knew this. She’d interviewed Gault herself and taken an active part in the hiring process. She knew the woman could pick up Morpheus with one arm and carry him over her shoulder over long distances, that her strength was a defining feature to why she was hired. And yet. And yet. Lucienne felt that she had never truly appreciated just how strong Gault was until just this moment. And she needed to do something about it right now, or she’d go mad.
Unexpected favorite ship of the Sandman series 😍🦋✨👓📚
