Yes, his companions are characterized by the tendency to run toward danger, and to try to help people, both of which Theo definitely does. She would occasionally get frustrated with him, but would be okay to defer to his greater experience once she calculated their age difference. She might have issues with his piloting skills though. Like River Song, she’d probably pilot the Tardis much better than he manages to.
